"We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌"

"This property is the perfect location and was extremely beautiful. Stoirm surpassed all of our expectations. Imagine sitting on the back deck with a clear view of Portree across the harbor and Old Man Storr in the distance, but no doubt to the rock formation. Dunvegan is about 35 minutes away, and Kilt Rock was about the same. This home is just lovely, modern and beautifully appointed. There is a full size washer/dryer, which was handy as we were already 8 days into our trip to Scotland, the 3rd...

"We had a week here in September (10-17th) and loved every minute. We saw otters from the shore one day and did walks in every direction from the house. The weather treated us quite kindly and we managed to be outdoors for a good part of each day without getting (too!) wet. The house was so comfortable and well set up it was always a pleasure to return to. We slept so well too…all the fresh air and a super comfy bed. A great location for exploring Skye and the Glenelg area too."

"We had the best week in Scotland and will definitely return. The location of the property is fabulous. The scenery and wildlife were amazing. The Pine Martens came every night for the jam butties and eggs we put out for them. We even saw a Golden Eagle flying overhead. Walk down the path towards the Castle and there are seals on the rocks. Paula could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Sorry we could only stay for a week ."

"Two of us stayed for 7 nights in August to visit friends in the area and to attend to business on Skye with colleagues. Excellent, central location to explore Highlands and Islands region of Scotland. Very clean comfortable cottage/bungalow on the waters edge, spectacular views, private tranquil location, excellent kitchen for self catering. Carrie was a wonderful host, very responsive to texts, and the only disappointment was that we never met her in person to express our appreciation for...

"The Kinloch Ainort Apartments were a joy - so peaceful with the sheep grazing and the quiet of the area. The apartments appear to be brand new. They are spacious and have everything you will need for a great stay. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot! We traveled to Broadford (15 minutes or so away) to get groceries at the CoOp. We also enjoyed a really good pizza at Cafetesia there. After visiting busy Portree on our trip around the Isle we are glad we chose a quieter place! "

"What a great find. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. We stayed in one of the Cabins and it was prefect. Cabin had all the amenities one would for their stay. There is a wonderful restaurant, The Sprig, on property and the food was outstanding. Within a very short walk we found The Coffee Bothy which is a great place to grab coffee and breakfast. "
