"The service at The Clarkson Inn is impeccable. Very, very clean and all are very friendly. The common areas are well appointed. However, the rooms are showing signs of wear and tear. The bathrooms in particular need an update. This is still the nicest property in the area. "

"The stay was great and we were greeted by a wonderful host. When we got to our suite, we noticed the room was nice and spacious and had the great views we had booked for. Our only issues is that the lamps were very dusty and hadn't been cleaned in months probably. The hotel also said we would get breakfast in the dining area, but when we went for breakfast on our last day, there was none. This was unfortunate as we really enjoyed it."

"We were originally booked at Capt Inn & Suites and since they were closing prior to our booked reservation, we were moved to Thomson’s Resort. Thomson’s exceeded my expectations. It was really decorated nicely decorated and felt homey. The view off the balcony of Boldt Castle was spectacular as well! My only two critiques was that our room was located up 26 stairs and we weren’t told that ahead of time. I have a bad back so the stairs weren’t helpful and we tried to avoid going in and out...
