"We had a fabulous time here - accommodation was spacious and comfortable with all you could wish for. There was nothing we could fault. The little extras that always make a difference were there too - fridge items, milk, butter, also sugar, tea and coffee with all the showers having having all the toiletries you could want.. Lovely host and the horses, dogs and cat were loved by our toddler. Well placed too for getting out and about. Recommend Churchland Farm and the Stable to anyone who wants...

"The apartment was gorgeous and had all of the amenities that you would need. It was so well furnished and I would definitely stay here again. The hosts were so helpful and answered my call when I couldn't find the key to get in (completely my fault ) and contacted me really quickly. "What a beautiful little find, we were met at the property by the lovely owner, a couple of very cute little dogs and a beautiful cat called Elvis and later some chickens and two very sweet little goats roaming free. The pod/cabin/accommodation is nestled in the side of a hill with stunning views, and even though there was a storm one night it was calm and quiet in the pod. "I was visiting my sister who lives in Taunton with my 1yo daughter and we had an amazing stay. The apartment was bright, clean and cozy. It is in a very central part of town and we were able to walk everywhere! Highly highly recommend! Communicating with Malcom was easy and we really enjoyed our stay."

"Overall stay was lovely, great location and Google maps gets you there fine but written instructions a little confusing with many DONT’s. The linens on the 2 single beds became very damp over the course of our 2 night stay which was of course uncomfortable. Possibly the stone walls/warm bodies. Perhaps a dehumidifier and some constant low heat could resolve this. There were guests in the cottage above us which was disturbing overnight. Very loud footfall, which is unintentional, but potentially...

"Nice property itself. However rooms need a good cleaning. Restaurant was crowded and mediocre with slow service. (I think that was more an issue of staffing). I messaged the property through VRBO several times (about checkin procedures) with NO response. Come to find out it’s not an individual home or unit, but a mini hotel. Would have been peace of mind had we known. When traveling from overseas, and not knowing area, you are hoping you indeed have the booked accommodations!"

"We had a lovely stay in Blue Anchor, the cottage was so warm and cozy, beautiful views and a much needed welcome pack waiting for us when we arrived. Lisa the host was amazing and we would definitely come back. It was our dog Rocky's first time on the beach and he loved it. Its a very dog friendly place and everyone we met was so friendly. "Amazing house for a short weekend away with friends. We came for Easter weekend with a large group of 19 people. We ordered pizzas from the local pizza restaurant under David’s recommendation which made cooking easier and were great pizzas that arrived nice and hot. We did spot a mouse in one of the rooms however but as people who live in the rural countryside ourselves, it’s expected in these types of properties. Overall great stay and lovely facilities- amazing hot tub and we loved the outside...

"Lovely holiday home in a tranquil setting, away from the crowds. We always felt happy to return here after a day out. The animals added extra interest and Claire was very responsive to our requests. Our favourite trip was Buddleigh Salterton, for swimming and shopping, only 25 mins away. The tramilne from Colyton to Seaton was also excellent, with a wonderful wetlands stop en route."
