"We had planned a quiet relaxing stay, a place to warm up in this awful winter. The biggest hit was the property itself. Really spacious, beautifully and simply restored. Not liking too much sun it was perfect for me to relax inside when I’d had too much or sit on the Terrace. We don’t travel about too much but would come back and do that. Restaurant recommendations from Elsa were very good. There is a baker in town with great bread and pastries. Had never been to Fuerteventura before and I would say it is not too developed which suited us perfectly. Had a car so didn’t use public transport but there seemed to be reasonable bus service. Would recommend it 100%, it’s a place to relax so don’t expect towering hotels!"

"Absolutely loved this place and would stay here again if I return to Fuerteventura. Its a very quiet and peaceful place to stay, far from the tourist crowds. Downside is it isn't terribly convenient to much, including to restaurants and grocery stores - there are a couple of former in town with limited areas, latter was limited to something more like a convenience store than a full-blown grocery store. Absolutely not the place to stay if you aren't renting a car. Loved having the seating area right outside the door to the rooms, I ate breakfast out there every morning. I was joined by two or three of the farm's cats each time, which I enjoyed but I could see being irritating if you dislike cats or are allergic to them. They're VERY friendly, if you leave any room at all between yourself and table, they WILL jump into your lap. Rooms were big, no air conditioning but if you keep the shutters closed during the day and air the place at night, it remains pleasantly cool. Bathroom good, though will note that, as is not uncommon on this island, the plumbing cannot handle toilet paper and you must discard toilet paper in a small bin with a lid. Bed and sofa were both comfortable. Kitchenette is solid, has a stovetop and a full-sized fridge. I kept waking up pretty early, so can attest that if you wake before dawn the stars are fabulous outside. "

"I can’t say enough of our stay. It was wonderful, the setting, the house, the hosts. We spent one week there for a family reunion and everyone enjoyed it so much. The location is a bit isolated, but kind of centered in the island so everywhere we went was less than one hour drive. The hosts where very attentive at check in and check out, and responded rapidly the one time we needed to ask them something. The many hose amenities worked perfectly and we were able to enjoyed them all. We just have to find another time to go back."
