We had a fab week at this hotel, most of which was spent by the pool. The hotel itself is very clean and has all the amenities you need. It's very spacious and for us wasn't over crowded. The one thing we noticed is that the pools need some maintenance work as there were missing and lose tiles as you walked in.
Hotel lived up to its previous reviews. Everything about this hotel was 5 star. The food was fabulous, both breakfast and evening dinner. Great size of bedrooms with stunning views of the golf course and pool. Staff were very friendly and helpfull.
Not the place to go if you want a lively, fun hotel. Ideal for couples & singles wanting peace & solace
Calleta de Fuste is one of the quieter resorts on the island and this hotel seemed to be popular with young families and couples, those after some peace and relaxation and a nice mix of nationalities. The hotel had three pools, with areas clearly set aside for kids, those looking for some activities (occasional volleyball, water polo and aerobics, with the staff working hard to keep people amused) and a final larger one, adjacent to massage tent for those looking for some peace and quiet. Arrangement worked really well. The hotel is well kept, modern and clean with pleasant gardens, a stone's throw from the beach and just 15mins from the airport by taxi (about 14 Euros). Bedrooms have excellent facilities (balconies, mini-bars, complimentary toiletries, air-con, safe, TV's, huge beds and tea and coffee facilities) and were cleaned and made-up daily, without having to request it. Main resort centre is about a 10-15min walk along the coast where you'll find lots of shops, bars and restaurants and a water-sports / diving centre. Again, not a wild centre of nightlife and discos, but plenty of nice places to watch the sunset from, or enjoy a quiet meal. Recommended.
I popped over to Fuerteventura at the beginning of March for a short break, and apart from a little background information didn't really know what to expect from the Costa Tropical and it's location. The cab journey from the airport was easy, 10 minutes and 10 euros. I found the staff at the hotel helpful and pleasant, and the hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and suited my needs perfectly. Whilst the area is under-going a fair amount of construction, and is a couple of kilometres or so from Caleda de Fusta, this was no problem particularly as the walk (along the coast) to there was pleasant. I would recommend the Costa Tropical and if I'm in the position to pop over for 4 or 5 days the same time next year, I won't hesitate to stay there again - I combined my twin aims of running training in the open air and catching the sun

Modern Mediterranean-style property with gleaming white façade, located within two kilometres of the beach and Costa Caleta …More
Having read some of the earlier reviews (after I'd booked), I was a bit apprehensive.
How wrong was I, the hotel looked as if it has had a makeover. There was clearly on going maintenance and noticeable improvements were being made daily. Our room was fresh, clean and the beds were new and very comfortable.
Hotel is good located. It is in the midle of Fuerteventura,so you can reach everything fast. It's only 10min from airport if you are going with car.
Room was clean, staff very nice. We are very happy. Thanks
The apartment was very well equipped, clean and comfortable; the situation overlooking the pool with the sea in the distance made sitting on the balcony a very pleasant experience and a good place to unwind.. The situation to the mini market was good.
Spent a lovely week at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious. One balcony and a terrace of our own with sunbeds and table and chairs and a lovely view of the beach. Did not like the fact that we had to pay 3 Euros each day for a safety deposit box, thought this was so expensive and unnecessary. There is a shower room which is available to use on the last day after your room check out which was great. It was my birthday while I was there and there was a bottle of Cava and a cake left in my room and a happy birthday message from the hotel which I thought was a lovely gesture. Only one of the three pools was heated and the other two were far to cold to swim in.
