"We enjoyed everything about our 5 day stay at Serenita; the most difficult thing about staying there was working up the initiative to leave the beautiful house & grounds and the relaxing atmosphere in order to explore the nearby towns and countryside. We were in the Chimbaluk suite, with a big living area with leather couches/big screen TV/frig-coffeemaker/plus a large separate bedroom and bath. "Very pleasant stay in this B & B in a beautiful country setting - about 10 kilometers from Plazzolo Acredide, an interesting hill town that does not get much tourism. The B & B owner was very helpful in recommending things to see and places to eat. You need a car to get to this place, and it is not easy to find. Be sure to make a copy of the driving directions and bring them with you. No internet access. Good breakfast. This is a good place to stay if you want to get off the beaten track...

"We had a lovely two night stay here. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. We planned to take a train to Ragusa and they took us to the train. Unfortunately the train wasn’t running(beware trains in Silicy!). Salvo came back and got us and then they got us a car service with fifteen minutes. Incredible! Yeah to Salvo and the entire staff."

"What a special place this is. A step back in time, with modern conveniences! Villa Guilia is absolutely gorgeous! I am so sorry we only stayed here one night. The bed was VERY comfortable and there were extra pillows. Great shower...and a MODERN hairdryer (hard to find in Sicilian hotels). We ate at the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had on our 2-week trip. The owner could not be nicer! We will definitely return and stay longer."
