The first room they offered us was quite nice but there was a not very pleasant smell in the bathroom and there were no armchairs to sit while watching the TV. The second room was very much better with 2 armchairs .
Really pleasant 3 night stay. The hosts have gone over and beyond with detail to make the stay as homelike as possible. Some guests may not like the rules but we found every thing suited us fine. The hosts were fantastic really helped us out with a last night problem. Would not hesitate in returning again.
Lovely place..great room (4) so clean and friendly all round..fairly nice breakfast. Only slight downside is a bit out of town. 15 min walk tho cheap taxis back. Honesty bar nice touch..great stay. Thanks Nicki.
"Lovely contemporary B&B near to the coastal path"
The owner was very helpful on email when we arranged to arrive a little early, even when we had to change timings a little due to traffic, and met us outside the B&B when we arrived. She was super friendly and helped us with our bags. The room was spacious, very light and nicely decorated with a small but perfectly functional shower room en suite and use of a full bathroom across the hall. The owner made us tea and made time for a chat about the B&B and the local area. We only stayed one night but had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was great and very quickly arrived. Highly recommended, we'd love to go back!

"Nice, cosy & very well maintained close to beach"
My girlfriend and I stayed for the long wknd. The B&B is very nice, very well maintained. Peter, the owner, is great, very wellcoming & helpful. The beach is a 5 min walk away and the whole North Devon region very beautiful. I can definitely recommend staying with Peter.

The east of this varied coastline features the deep 'combes' (wooded valleys) of Exmoor, which plunge down to the sea, most dramatically at Lynton and Lynmouth. Westward are traditional English seaside towns with long sandy beaches (Ilfracombe, Woolacombe). Beyond the characterful towns of Barnstaple and Bideford, Clovelly is a picture-book, whitewashed fishing village, while Hartland Point is known for its dramatic, storm-battered cliffs.
