"A great location. Bus access to down town is one block over. In a very nice neighborhood. The host was so helpful with suggestions/recommendations. Great eating places/pubs within a quick walk. Room/bathroom was spotless. Rooms are very quiet. Breakfast is amazing with excellent choices and cooked to order. Parking easily available on side street next to property."

"Our family of 3 stayed at the Sherwood Inn for 2 nights. It was perfect! Breakfast was delicious. It was our 3 year olds favorite meal of the day both days in Edinburgh. The room was very comfortable for the 3 of us with very high ceilings and a nice en suite. "This metro hotel was one of our best experiences in Scotland. Kevin and Susan, thw owners, do a remarkable job at making you feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional every morning, seeved by Kevin himself, along with laughs a plenty. Susan was happy to do a load of laundry for us (service fee, of course), and she was even kind enough to loan me SuperGlue to make a repair on my travel wallet. The evening staff was wonderful, always helpful and talkative if you wanted...

"This was the most awesome place. My family loved it. We had been on vacation for 11 days at this point and stayed in many different locations and we all stated to one another we would have just stayed at this location the whole time. It's perfect. It was spacious, clean, had books, board games, an additional "sun room" with dining table. Two large beds, smaller table to eat at as well. I highly recommend. "
