"We stayed only one night because we took the ferry from Gran Canaria to visit friends from Germany who were staying at Aldriana. It was a successful visit and we completely enjoyed our first stay at Cactus Garden. We would be happy to stay again. "

"We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now. Twice with our children and this time as a couple. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the rooms are fantastic, the choice of food in the evening is great and the breakfast is a very pleasant experience on the terrace outside, overlooking the pool. Of course there is the usual number of people reserving sun loungers in the morning but there are plenty for everyone especially if you have other things to do in the day as well as enjoying the pool area., the resort seems quite remote but that is part of it’s charm, you can get a transfer to and from the resort and just enjoy what the area has to offer."

"Food was wide ranging and of an excellent standard at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very small glasses for beer in the evenings are a source of frustration as is the constant need to login to Wi-fi. Hotel looks to have been refurbished in fairly recent past though not all of it has been done successfully e.g. bathrooms look great though mirrors are clearly old and worn with floor tiles in reception cracked and broken. Great value out of season holiday. Hotel has many steps/stairs though there are lifts - not all of which work all of the time. Well located with the main shops and beach only a short walk away."
