"Much as I would love to tell you how good the Clacks was I cannot. It looks good in the pictures and looks good from outside. Unfortunately due to some mix up I could not gain access, this after a 200 mile drive. I phoned the owner, luckily his number was in the details, and he told me The Clacks will remain shut for months and that hotels.com had not notified him of any booking. Left with a 'where will I sleep?' dilemma the owner more than went out of his way to find us another property to...

"I didn’t have high hopes for this guest house as it was the cheapest available on the night I needed. I was very pleasantly surprised, friendly welcome, clean room and a week cooked tasty breakfast. If I was being really picky the mattress creaked a lot and the pillow was lumpy but for the money this was very good indeed. "
