"the location is great, especially if you're in your 20's and like to party til 4 am. The apartment had a strong smell of mold and had little to no ventilation. The toilet didn't work and we had to manually flush. The kitchen is a hot plate and infested with ants.. The bed in the bed room reminds me of prison. The art in the living room was horrific, an old picture of the twin towers above a fire extinguisher. I'll never stay here again "

"Pascal and Marie are very attentive and lovely hosts. We were greeted and guided to the house by Eulalia (the sweet and informative house manager). The house is fantastic, the sauna and the pool got a lot of use. The kitchen is well equipped. The house is located in the scenic mountain region of Monchique, a 10 minute walk to town down the garden trail. The the gardens are lush and we had a fantastic time exploring the region. We would highly recommend this beautiful place."

"Despite our late arrival (after midnight), we were welcomed by the property manager Eulália, who met us at the local supermarket and shown us the way to the villa and gave us a thorough guide to the property. The villa itself was lovely with everything you need for your stay. The surrounding garden was beautiful with stunning views of the valley below and neighbouring hillsides. I can imagine the private pool being an absolute godsend in the summer months, but could have been a little warmer for...
