We have stayed at the Tivoli several times and always enjoy our stay. The staff always make you feel welcome and seem to remember you. Lovely pool area with pool bar and terrace serving food & drinks. There is also a courtesy bus to the private beach club several times a day.
After a horrendously long day getting to the hotel I was immediately relaxed on entering the hotel. Decor a little modern, and internal lighting in corridors a little too low for my personal taste but overall a nice feel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was spotless, as were the rooms. The breakfast was amazing, all the food on offer was mind boggling, all cooked/presented perfectly, any empty serving spaces were filled very quickly. The catering staff were brilliant! They certainly work hard for their wages... and were tipped accordingly at the end of our stay. The rooms were very clean, well maintained and functional. We had a three bed standard room (our teenage daughter came with us) The third bed was VERY hard, she could not get to sleep on it, so it was my husband's bed for most of the week. It was reported but I don't think anything could be done. I found the bathroom floors very slippery, we could have done with a non-slip mat in there. I was very greatful that we could choose a smoking room, I was able to indulge on the private terrace area attached to the room. The room service was good. The a la carte restaurant, spledid. Staff there were exceptional. The evening buffet was great for myself and my husband but my daughter struggled to find anything to her taste, we only dined there for one night (it was quite an expensive chicken nuggets and chips for my daugher) Overall I really enjoyed my stay, and would reccomend to all.
We had a fantastic stay at the Belmar- we had a studio apartment which was adequately spacious for two people which lead straight out to one of the pools. The kitchen was fully equipt- even with it's own blender.
Towels were changed twice during our weeks stay which was fine but the apartment was still cleaned daily- they even did the dishes!
The buffet breakfast provided plenty of choice of cereals, breads, cooked food, meat and cheeses.
The hotel was literally 2 minutes from the beach which was never overly busy- the hotel provides yellow towels that you can take to the pool/beach. There were two great restaurants there too for lunch or dinner.
The town centre was about a 25/30 minute walk which was fine for us but a taxi would only have been about €5-7. The town is very laid back and beautiful. Lots of lovely restaurants to choose from.
The drinks at the hotel were reasonably priced but don't miss happy hour from 5-7pm!
Dinis and his staff are wonderful. The room was clean, pretty, and sizeable. A lovely touch was flower petals on the bed on our last night. The breakfast is excellent with a huge choice. The whole complex is very tastefully laid out, with three small pools to laze by the side of. The location is only a few minutes walk from the beautiful beaches of Doña Ana and Camilo in a nice quiet end of town. My girlfriend and I loved our stay and didn't want to leave.

We decided on a late season holiday in the Algarve knowing the weather would still be warm/hot. We were not disappointed. Mid 80's every day. We arrived at our apartment/ hotel 2 hours before check in and were greeted by a lovely friendly member of staff who made sure our apartment was ready immediately - changing our apartment to suit our arrival. You won't be disappointed. It took minutes to check in during which the receptionist provided us with a map of where we were in relation to the main town and shops/restaurants.
We then went to our apartment which was beautiful. Very big, large entrance hall, large double bedroom, very large lounge/ kitchenette. The kitchen had a large fridge, two electric cooker rings, a big microwave oven, kettle and full set of pans, plates and cutlery. Everything was spotless.
We had a pool view which was lovely, especially at night when the two outdoor pools were lit up.
Lovely restaurant, gym, jacuzzi, solarium and two indoor pools also.
Just around the corner (turn left out of main entrance, walk a short distance to the end of the road, turn right and walk another short distance - 5 minutes max) there is a great supermarket/shop,and four restaurants/bars. Great when you have been out/busy all day and don't want to walk into town. Having said that a walk to the centre of town is no more than a 15 minute walk.
Special mention for that supermarket next to the Chinese restaurant - fabulous selection price welcome.
