The most overpriced hotel I have ever stayed in

In no way is this a luxury hotel despite the luxury price tag.

Fab hotel close to railway station

Posted 24-Apr-2015
Pros: Cleanliness and comfort
Cons: Add facecloths and body lotion to amenities in the bathroom. Update local events info which was TWO YEARS out of date!
Location: Handy for the Apollo O2 arena. Close to Manchester Piccadilly Rail Station
Enjoyed our stay at a very good hotel which was close to the amenities we wished to use in Manchester. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable

Very nice experience

The hotel is very well located, just next to the station and close to the centre. The rooms are imaculate and the overall standing is very good. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was up to standards

Great location

Visited manchester to see The Script at Phones4U Arena. Hotel literally a few mins from railway station but a fair trek from arena. Concierge very helpful with recommendations for drinks and restaurants and directions to arena. Room was very spacious and well equipped and my hubby lived the speakers in the bathroom!!! All staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was great and check out easy. Would definitely stay again and try the spa and restaurant.

Ok hotel - good location but overall disappointing

Posted 25-Feb-2015
Pros: Good location close to Picadilly Station.
Cons: See above - lots.
Very difficult to find how to get to the hotel by car - I found the hotel by sat nav quite easily but getting to the front door or the car park was something else. There was no TV remote in my room and operating the TV without was difficult. I phoned reception when I arrived to request a remote but it hadn't arrived by the time I let the following morning. The only restaurant was fully booked and there was no space to eat in the bar although there were various free tables all of which had reserved signs. So the only option for eating in the hotel was room service. My first call wasn't answered before I gave up after thirty or so rings. My second call was answered and I placed my order before being advised of a forty minute delay. The food when it arrived was okay but not great.

Close to Piccadilly Station and all the trams.

Posted 14-Feb-2015
Pros: Situation, friendliness and always having enough staff working related to the events being held in Manchester.
Cons: Nothing . Unfortunately ran out of time to visit the spa.
Location: Piccadilly station trams allowed us to visit all parts of Manchester very easily on a day ticket.
Extremely friendly staff who went out of their way to help at all times. A busy meeting place hotel which caters for football supporters and business people alike. Great atmosphere.
