"Our first trip to the area and it is beautiful. We were blessed with fine weather. The Coach House is very well presented with all mod cons and a comfortable bed. The lounge area is spacious with lovely outlook to the garden. The grounds are lovely with an array of bird life. Great pubs and restaurants nearby. Jules and Chris are very hospitable."

"We had a wonderful time. The property has everything you could need including thoughtful extras like milk, bread, tea and coffee on arrival. Property owner is lovely and easily contactable. There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough!"

"Location, wow - beautiful vistas, lovely gardens, lovely cottage. Inside is also very nice indeed, well appointed and comfortable - only negative there was that there was a bit of a paraffin smell near the boiler, not sure if there had been a spillage. Otherwise great and extremely convenient for the RHS show. We cooked, we BBQd, we ate on the deck, we watch the wildlife. Alpaca farm is a short walk and was a lovely little trip for brekkie and animal watching. We will be back! Thanks Alison :)"

"I booked this place for a little hendo celebration. The house was a perfect home from home with everything you could possibly need. The hosts are the best I have ever experienced, with fab communication. Nothing was too much trouble. 5 stars from me. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends."

"The property has good parking for the property and can accomodate several cars. The house is very attractive and very well equipped for a large group to stay. With all rooms being ensuite it makes staying very easy for everyone. The linens and towels are a very good quality and the beds are very comfortable. The hot tub is well maintained and great fun and private. The crockery, glassware and serving dishes are perfect for celebrating family occasions. The welcome gift was a nice suprise also...

"Such a delightful stay -cosy, exceptionally clean cottage with everything we needed. Lovely quite location although you are unable to work anywhere due to the roads but lovely pubs in just a short drive away. The welcome hamper was gorgeous abs such a lovely surprise!"

"The property is spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The location is great for walking into town and along the riverfront. We found lots of locals helpful and friendly and the coffee shops were fine. The White Lion pub across the street was especially pleasant and the food good."

"We are just back from a fabulous stay at this property, Kim and her husband were so welcoming and made effort to pop in that first evening to check all was okay. The house is amazing and thankfully very warm. Don’t be misled when you first get there as there are definitely 4 lovely bedrooms, but two seperate stair cases. Also don’t mistake Parker’s cottage for Parker’s, it’s right behind it and you access it by entering it up the little road right beside the red postbox. We would definitely...

"The property owners were great and made sure our arrival was welcoming with great info and welcome pack. The property is a unique original cottage with hone comforts and incredible view. There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. As with anywhere in this area to get the most you have to prepared to be a bit active and there are a few steps required to get down to the cottage but definitely worthwhile. Recommended for chilled out stay in...
