Do not stay until renovations are fully completed.

Pros: Great breakfast, nice bar area. And has a Starbucks!
Cons: Should be honest and list on the website of the inconvenience of the ongoing work to the hotel.
Location: Location was close to the airport, but must pay five pounds for a short hop.
This hotel is under renovation, which if I knew about beforehand, I would not have booked! The walk to the room was incredibly, far due to the fact, that the route you should have taken was blocked of. Wait time for the lifts took forever.

Just an overnight before flying home.

Posted 18-May-2015
Pros: Clean. Comfortable. Not overly expensive. Very close to terminal 1,2 and 3. Great pub 2 blocks away for dinner and drinks.
Cons: All was fine.
Location: Very close to terminal 1,2 and 3. Great pub 2 blocks away for dinner and drinks.
Nice greeting. Offered a glass of juice or wine while checking in. Shuttle was fine. Wake up call had to be requested twice however. New girl at desk forgot to put in the call.

Heathrow Airport

Posted 18-May-2015
Pros: Location and newly remodeled rooms.
Very centrally located near Heathrow Airport, only minutes away by shuttle. Stayed overnight before catching a morning flight out, great value. Undergoing renovation in spots, the lobby/bar/restaurant area is nicely appointed but the outside is undergoing cleaning and restoration so looks a little shabby. Stayed in a newly renovated room, very spacious and well appointed. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would recommend it to anyone having to take an early flight out of Heathrow or to anyone having an overnight layover.

Pluses and Minuses

Posted 16-May-2015
Pros: The Front Desk Staff, cleanliness and comfort of the room and view of a major LHR runway,
Cons: Advise booking guests of hotel renovations going on and the expected completion date. Leave a few of the old-style English rooms.
Location: Bus to and from LHR Airport running on excellent, punctual schedules is all we really know about.
Great staff and great English buffet breakfast included in our selected room rate. Easy to get to and from from all five LHR Terminals via Hotel Hoppa bus. Had stayed in this hotel overnight connecting at LHR before. But was disappointed in their on-going room renovations which we did not learn about until arrival. We liked the previous British-style rooms a lot feeling as if we were in England. The new modern room didn't feel like England at all! Shower had no door with water going all over the floor. Shower sprayers and controls were hard to figure out. Room electric light switches were a challenge. The hot water coffee/tea set up was actually better than the previous room. We also found a refrigerator not in the previous room. Front desk staff including two very sharp Trainees was as helpful as they could possibly be. A great reception after a long flight. Will stay there again for overnight connections at LHR.

Very Quiet

Posted 05-May-2015
Cons: Restaurant menu is quite limited and could be enlarged
Location: Heathrow airport hotel tells you all you need to know about location
Excellent soundproofing, only noise was very occasionally from a noisy passerby in the hallway. Undergoing significant refurbishment. The bar and restaurant were typically overpriced as in many hotels

Traffic congestion due to roadway work at LHR caused a 45 minute delay in reaching the hotel. The convenience of airport proximity evaporated. This is not your fault, however if not corrected will eliminate this hotel from further consideration.

Hotel near Airport

Posted 28-Apr-2015
Pros: I liked the proximity to the airport. Rooms were lovely, spacious with king beds!
Cons: It's hard to say as the hotel is under construction. Lovely improvements thus far.. A hotel shuttle to the airport would be GREAT!!
Location: Not sure what all there is surrounding the hotel. We walked to McDonalds for a light dinner, a 2 min. walk.
We chose this hotel to be near Heathrow for our flight home. We were delighted when we entered the reception area! Very lovely hotel in all regards.

Great hotel close to Heathrow Airport

Posted 27-Apr-2015
Pros: Close to airport.
Cons: Under construction - but did not affect my stay.
Location: Don't know anything about what to do nearby - this was an overnight connection stay.
Hoppa Hotel Bus will take you roundtrip to this Hotel for 9 UK pounds. It runs every 20 minutes or so and is a very convenient way to get to and from the airport. The hotel food is very good, service is prompt, kind and considerate. Rooms were welcoming and comfortable. Great value for the dollar. They went the extra mile to help guide us through check-in, airport terminal information, baggage and transfers. The bar serves a great martini and the restaurant food, though pricey, is excellent fare.
