Amazing staff!! The rooms are simple but very comfy and VERY clean. The neighborhood is quiet- no swarms other tourists crowding the streets, no clubs or loud bars close by, very pretty and walkable to the bus lines and underground stops. The room was absolutely SILENT at night, which was amazing. The coffee shop across the street was a definite perk of the place also!! Will definitely stay again when traveling to London.

The hotel rooms are very small, hard to maneuver with a small carry on suitcase. However, when you’re on the go exploring all day and all you need is a bed and a shower, this hotel is fine and perfectly located between two tube stations and a short walk to Hyde Park. Wonderful breakfast options down the street (go visit LaMeena cafe!!!) hotel is under construction/renovation/improvement. Staff is INCREDIBLY attentive and pleasant!

This is a very very old building, to get to the lift you have to go up a set of stairs ( not a place for those with mobility issues), the rooms are tiny and I mean tiny. There is a desk which takes up a quarter of the room and you bang your shins just to walk around the bed. Toilets are tiny, shower barely big enough for one person and no shelf to place your shampoo or anything else inside the shower. Location I convenient to walk and to get on the tube.

The key selling point of this hotel are the staff and location. The staff are so friendly and willing to help nothing is too much trouble. Location well what can I say Paddington station is about a 7minute walk and Lancaster Gate 2min. With Hyde Park about 4 mins walk. Lovely places to eat especially in the surrounding area.

It served the purpose and was clean - not strikingly so, but clean. It looks a little tired - when we checked in a lady was complaining that her shower door fell off. During my stay the towel rack fell off. Fantastic location, two blocks to the underground, and within the same block was LAUNDRY SERVICE, a couple of cafes, and a pub. Also close to other restaurants and Hyde Park, but still quiet in our block.

Initially, my room was not good with multiple problems. However, management was responsive and placed me in a different room that was much better. The room was small and worked fine for me at 5’ tall. Might be a bit more of challenge for someone bigger. The first room was also a single but was larger and would be fine for taller, bigger person. In room coffee service, plenty of outlets, hairdryer and a wonderful combo shampoo and bath wash. Double shower head was great feature. Location is perfect with shops, eateries and laundry nearby but all very quiet. Simple walk to Paddington so travel was a breeze. Elevator and some stairs to some rooms. Simple and efficient for those wanting great place without fuss. Thank you to staff for acting quickly to make my stay pleasant after rough start.

This is a wonderful, clean, quaint hotel in a classic London neighborhood. The room, with two twin beds was small- while the on suite bathroom was very spacious!! The room and bath was very clean and inviting, and the A/C was great! We enjoyed daily housekeeping & clean towels. Location was steps from multiple restaurants and coffee shops and walkable to both the Lancaster Gate and Piccadilly Station. Staff was professional & friendly. Really, a great stay at an affordable price.

Katrina the receptionist lady was very helpful when we checked in. The bathroom was not good. No room in the shower to put the shampoo or soap. The light above the sink were out. No instruction how to use the AC. The toilet has small leak. There was a towel left in the bathroom from previous couple. Expensive for the room we got. we were in room 23

The staff was very nice and helpful. The property itself is rather dated. The room was very dated and could have been cleaned better. There's barely enough room in the bathroom for a tooth brush. Not enough towel racks so the towels are left on the beds. Bathroom cabinet is very old with busted lights. There isn't a safe in the room and wasn't told that there's one in the reception either, so you will have to carry your passports and valuables wherever you go which is a big disadvantage. Carpets do have a smell and aren't vaccumed or cleaned, I did notice the same items on the floor day after day. No trash can in the room either. Overall, I would have preferred paying a little more and staying somewhere else. This is not the type of room that you can hang out in for the evening, just go to sleep and leave. There are shops and restaurants in the vicinity and walking distance to the tube and paddington station.
