“Not impressed!”
Tiny single room, breakfeast is very good and staff are friendly and helpful.
“Good for the price”
Rooms are small but functional; well situated for travel around central London by tube or foot. Internet service was very poor.
“not bad”
was not too bad for price. room a bit small /but not a problem.
“London Good location next to Victoria”
The only complain is about the noise due to nonexistent sound insulation to the street, the wall and the ceiling. The neighborhood is pleasant with pubs, restos, Tesco and Sainthbury less then 200m. Victoria 10min walk. Single room are small but this is London.
“Enjoyed my stay. Staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful.”
This was my first trip "across the pond". I found the room to be comfortable, but smaller than what I am used to in the U.S. Friends tell me that smaller rooms are typical in Europe. The room was very clean. The staff went out of their way to be courteous and helpful. Location was good -- in an area in which I felt safe walking even in the evening hours.
“Cosym friendly hotel.”
Staff friendly, breakfast good, temperature control good. Bed comfort good, rooms terribly small, shower good. No vanity top so hard to shave, etc. Lack of room safe a problem.
“Sardines on a budget”
Went for the single room thinking this would be value for money. The room was tiny. If you pulled the chair out from the desk you would have to step over it to get to the bed from the bathroom. That small. Don't know how they managed o clean the room and change the bedding as there was little room to move once you had put your shoes and a smallish hold-all on the floor. Best thing about the room was the shower and the humurous soaps that had "so good you steal two" written on tehir packaging. I was in such a hurry to leave I didn't even take one. Can't comment on the larger rooms but at those prices thee must be better in the area.
“Clean but smaller than expected”
Hotel and room were clean. My single room was smaller than I expected. Room was about 10X10 plus the bathroom. Shower only. Window opened onto Belgrave Rd. Little TV and a small desk. Fairly quiet. About a 10-15 minute walk from Victoria Station.
“PERFECT LOCATION. WILL RETURN”
Clean. Quiet. Perfect location. Walking distance Victoria Station (including Sainsbury grocery store and other shops) several theatres and only a few blocks from the Pimlico Tube Station. The rooms are small (its London, all rooms are small) but clean and well kept. I will absolutely stay here again--I think I have found my London hotel.
“FOR STUDENTS ONLY”
Real crappy hotel....this is suitable for backpackers or students not for family. Great location but I will NEVER stay there again. Rooms are soooooo tiny...I tried to do a push-up (to exercise and couldn't until I placed my suitcase on the bed). Had a weird experience one night too ...thought something paranormal happened in my room (207)...bed shaking and all (I know I wasn't sleeping) and when I asked the receptionist if there as an earthquake he looked at me as if I was weird. Staff is friendly that's one positive....they serve breakfast which is good considering how expensive everything is in London...
