"We loved our stay at Ashburn House! The B&B is lovely inside and out, with tasteful and lovingly executed finishings, and really beautiful gardens. The bed was VERY comfortable and the breakfasts were wonderful. The best pastries and fresh fruit I have had in a long time and a terrific coffee maker ;-). The location is also perfect; easy walking to downtown but a few blocks way so you don’t get the crowd noise. The proprietor is so warm and friendly, we felt like we were visiting friends. ...

"The guest house has a brilliant view. 10 minutes walk from Neptune staircase . The owners were great and welcoming. Breakfast was great and as my wife is gluten intolerant, this was no problem, as the owners went above and beyond to get her gluten free sausages. Over all would highl rate this Guesthouse as one to book, if staying in Fort William "

"Land-lady was nice and friendly upon welcome to home and at breakfast. The room was clean if a little unimpressive. Lack of amenities such as tea/coffee/shower gel in the room, in no way a deal breaker just not super homey. Also the free wifi did not make it to our room."
