It is an older room so the floors creak, which I did hear my neighbors walking around. There was a bar and restaurant downstairs which I decided not to eat at. Looked like it wasn’t very busy, so I drove into fort William which was about 15 minutes away and had more options for food. You have to check in at the castle down the road, staff was friendly. Bathroom had some gunk on the sink when I came in. It wiped right up. Williams Absolutely beautiful cottage located about a 10 minute drive from the main area of Ft. Williams. The inn is also on the premise of a beautiful manor with gorgeous gardens and pathways that we walked. There is a bar and restaurant on site but we venture out to one of the local restaurants that had a live local band playing. The cottage has such charm. It was very quiet at the Inn. We felt like we were the only people staying at the Inn. We stayed in room 6 and were extremely happy with the spacious room and facilities, very, very comfortable and relaxing. Especially as we had our dog - bed and feed bowls provided. Eating in the Factors Inn below was an added treat, and we eould cerrsinly recommend. Interlochy Castle tries to run it remotely, and basically it does not work. It was simple and clean/tidy. Decor was dated but we did expect this being rated a 3 star anyway. Nice extra of 2 dogs bowls and mat in the room ready for our small dog. Room was huge.
