"This is a 2-bedroom lodge with a kitchen/living area and bathroom. It is in a community of several lodges, some holiday lets, and some homes. The lodge had everything we needed for a 6-day stay. We found exactly what we needed for day-tripping and we would return if we were back in that area"

"Cannot fault the accommodation or the owner, both first class. Well located property for nearby walks, restaurant and pub. Railway station also close by for trains to Stirling , Edinburgh, Glasgow , Perth , plus many other locations. Dunblane is a quiet peaceful place. "We were able to visit several areas well known and not so well known from this location. The cottage itself was immaculate and so well appointed with anything that you might need. The host meet us at check in and went over everything and answered our questions. He also sent us some very helpful information about local restaurants and sights to see. "This house was chosen for its location to my daughter’s flat just around the corner. It was an ideal base for us to support her in the week up to her wedding day at Glasgow University. The Parking permit gave us peace of mind to leave the car nearby and not worry about meters. The flat was comfortable, warm and easy to live in. Everything was there that we needed. "We loved the location (we were aware of the parking potentially being problematic, but parked outside house all stay) and being on a hill didn’t cause us any problems. It was worth it for the view alone! The property has retained its charm whilst having all mod cons and everything we needed. The host was so accessible, but we didn’t need anything. The train ride into Edinburgh was easy, even with the dog."
