Enjoyable stay, couple of niggles

"Stopped two nights, one on a package. Very comfortable hotel, nice rooms, friendly staff. Couple of observations: only one chair in a room for two people, loads of space for a second. Nowhere to put your open suitcases, except on the floor, what happened to good old fashioned luggage stands? Food very good, especially breakfast buffet, but… I asked for a little bit of garlic butter for a steak, it initially caused some concern as there was no option for it on the menu, however “the chef has managed to find you some” It was a small quenelle, and a bit in a small pot. I found the next morning they had charged me £4.50 for it! They should offer ‘Cafe de Paris butter’ as standard! But the steak was excellent! We will stop again. "

Luxury Lakeside Lodge - Fishing Lake - Pet Friendly - 5 miles from Flamingo Land

Welcome break

"My family found the lodge to be clean and tidy. The only negative experience was the lack of consistent wifi connection. The connection was very unstable which meant that we were unable to watch any streaming services. I am not sure if this was a issue with the Lodge or with how the site organised its wifi provision."

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. "

Lovely weekend get away

"Fantastic little apartment in a brilliant location. Apartment had everything you needed and more for a weekend away. We had apartment 5 right at the very top, so no noise. Theres 2 long stay car parks nearby at £6 for 24 hours.Only complaint would be the key code to get in. I really struggled with it, especially after a few drinks 😉"

Morgan Cottage at 'This Is Not Here' With Hot Tub

Perfect relaxing home from home

"From booking to checking out this place has been fabulous. Just what we wanted and found everything to be as advertised. We were warmly welcomed by Lynne when we arrived who showed us into the property which was spotless. We walked into a warm and cosy Christmas cottage with a welcome pack that included everything we would need, essentials but then so much more, it has been really well thought out. The hot tub was ready to use, a fantastic haven for weary travellers. We encountered an issue with our electric car and Simon was so very helpful, the fault was with our vehicle and not the charger and a visit from vehicle assistance soon got us on the road again. My dog loved the open space and felt very welcome too. The cottage is a great base for exploring Yorkshire with a town 5 min drive away with a good range of shops, pubs, a lovely bistro and take aways. Would absolutely recommend for peace, rest and family time, thank you."

Lovely week at Derwent Cottage, near Malton

"Booked a week in December and our adult daughter joined us. The cottage was well equiped for us, very cosy & warm, comfortable beds, curtains & blinds at the bedroom windows. Large TV & DVD player. Powerful shower over the bath. There is a patio with furniture, if the weather is kind. A long drive leads to private parking. It is quite isolated, but peaceful and tranquil with lovely views. In the lounge are 2 x 2 seater settees, which would be quite 'snug' if there were 4 adults."
