"Beautiful property with delicious food and an incredibly helpful and friendly staff! One of the staff members even saw us rummaging through a bowl of flags for their "Where are you from" map and we casually mentioned that we couldn't find our country but it was alright, then left for a little walk around the property. When we came back, the staff member had printed it out for us! Little details like that show the staff pay attention and go beyond what is required to help their guests. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you!"

"This is a very authentic Japanese hotel and appeared to be mostly Japanese tourists. The dinner buffet had very loud live performance and the audience was definitely into it. There's an onsen at this hotel and a pool. The pool closes early and opens late so heads up. We didn't really pay attention to where the hotel was. It's about a 45 minute train from the Nara Park, we may have booked a closer place if we'd known, but for the experience of staying at this hotel it was pretty much worth it."

Exceptional service

"The service staff is exceptional. We had dinner at the nearby Mitu restaurant and the restaurant charged us twice which I think was an honest mistake. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the next two days which meant we couldn't contact the restaurant re the double charge as we were scheduled to move on to the next city on our tour. We approached the hotel staff to see if they could contact the restaurant on our behalf to get them to check the restaurant records. They were very helpful and the counter staff volunteered to go over to the restaurant when it reopen for business after the two day break to explain the situation to the restaurant. Anyway in short, the hotel staff was able to get the restaurant to reverse one of the charge. BTW the food at Mitu was excellent and well worth a visit."
