"We spent three nights at Dulikhel Lodge during our trip to Nepal in January. This is a very well kept property with excellent views of the Himalayas from most of the rooms. The food in the restaurant was very tasty. I would have rated it higher if it was not for one detail. The bathroom windows do not have glass but only wooden lattice for privacy, and the temperature in the bathroom was almost equal to the temperature outside. "We chose the penthouse, because I felt like a penthouse would be good. It wasn’t. We flew late at night from the US only to learn that the penthouse was on the 5th floor and they didn’t have an elevator. This made it impossible to stop by quickly at the hotel to get a hat or quickly change a shirt. We didn’t stay. We left the same night and went and stayed at their sister property with an elevator. From what I could see, the penthouse terrace was nice but I wasn’t about to do stairs the whole...

"I have just stayed here for three nights with my colleagues to attend a conference. The rooms are clean and basic but that friendliness of the staff and their willingness to assist you in any way they can was fantastic. When we ate in their restaurant the food was delicious and excellent value for money. This is a lovely hotel."
