Stunning private surf beach with beautiful rock cliffs surrounding. All necessities available at the resort so no need to leave eg. Pharmacy & doctor, mini supermarket, many bars & restaurants. Fantastic friendly staff, very good English, prompt service & very helpful.

The swimming pool here was a highlight. The garden is made to look like an exotic escape, and makes you feel like you're in one. Overall our experience was excellent. The staff was very friendly, the rooms clean and service great. However, I would like to clear up something that was misleading to us. All the photos we saw while booking, were of the villas- which are exceptional- but more expensive. We had a regular room, which was very nice and clean, but tight. But we were satisfied.
Loved our villa, which was on the lowest level, so easy access to beach and restaurant. View amazing, private pool lovely. Staff all very friendly. I would have liked a little more deck space to lounge in the sun, but the grassed areas and poolside loungers were always available. We used the golf buggy service to take us to the edge of katathani resort then caught a tuk tuk or walked into kata. Kata had a good range of restaurants to try. We stayed in four different places in phuket and the shore was definitely the favourite. Even my husband thought it was worth the money!
Very polished resort. Staff extremely helpful & courteous. Loved the cooked breakfast in the room. Probably the most you hope for on a holiday is to have no dramas during your stay. This was the case here, just turn up and relax. After breakfast or thereabouts we would generally leave & go walkabout (beach, shopping, sightseeing) and return between 1pm-4pm. Staff got to know this and as we left they were just about waiting to clean our suite. Sooooo good to come back to a clean fresh room!!!. Read reports about mosquitoe problems (stayed mid October) but was hardly a problem. Had spray & repellent supplied if needed but was hardly a issue.(Worse back at home in Brisbane)The room we stayed in was a bit scratched & bruised(furniture & fittings) but not in a state of disrepair. All lounge covers and bedding linen was up to date.TV in bedroom & open lounge area. Mini bar replenished each day.
Overall a great experience:
Pros: excellent room comfort & decor, great check in & out service, great overall feeling/ambiance, good pool experience, loved the spa services, breakfast buffet was great.
Cons: steep hill to walk up, food & restaurant service was mediocre at best.
Great hotel, we had a pool view room on the 3rd floor, really nice and clean room with balcony overlooking the pool. It felt pretty luxurious. Huge bed with soft sheets. The staff were really good. No issues, awesome buffet breakfast, so many choices of food to eat with egg station where staff cook eggs and bacon in front of you. Pool was fantastic. It is central in Kata, only 5 minutes walk to the beach. The south end of Kata beach is Rocky and great for snorkelling, we also hired a double kayak and went to the island and snorkelled there. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were very pleased with our stay at Impiana Private villas on Kata Noi beach. We spent more than usual for our stay but we felt that it was worth our while. Having a nice size private pool over looking the beach was the highlight. We had stayed at a beachfront property for a few days prior to moving to this hotel so did not mind not having direct access to the beach. If you are looking to get quiet, relaxing, and private holiday, this property definitely will give you such. We had a problem with our patio door in our first room and so they moved us to a even bigger villa. The level of service was excellent.
