"We booked our stay here about 2 years ago for a family trip from the UK to experience the total eclipse. Katherine was very attentive and answered all queries promptly, advising on things to do etc in the area. The house is lovely, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It had a great porch with a swing chair and rocking chair out front and decking out the back where you can sit and eat in the evening. The house is in easy walking distance of Waxahachie, which is a lovely little town....

"I was so impressed by this property. First, it was exactly as pictured in fact, the pictures don't do it justice. It is comfy, clean, and adorable. "What a beautiful location! We loved the cute little rooms all themed and named after grand children of the Beaumont family. My son loved fishing in the little lake and the kids enjoyed playing on the playscape nearby as well. We were very comfortable there and the service was great."

"This is a nice house with spacious rooms, but we encountered several issues with regards to cleanliness. There were clumps of hair on the floors, in the pool, and even on the front porch. Items were left in the backyard from previous guests. Food was caked on various surfaces. The towels were rolled up neatly on the beds, but they were very damp. There was also a significant fly infestation that seemed to be primarily in the kitchen. I wondered if food had been left out, or if the trashcan...
