The property was centrally located downtown and is easily walkable to many restaurants, Lake Eola, and other venues. Pets are also allowed, which is nice and the pet fee isn’t atrocious like other hotels.

Parking is accross the street and cost you daily or for every time that you leave. It would be nice to have parking that is included with the stay rather than an extra fee. The hotel was very nice and clean. We did have an issue with the toilet which was resolved quickly. Other than that, no issues.

Nice building but I'm not sure how many of the rooms were in disrepair. Ours certainly was. Especially the bathroom was left to waste. Tiles falling apart, mold growing every which way. I gather they are riding it out to wait until some ideal time to renovate bathrooms. I assume they might have some better rooms that aren't so neglected that they reserve for preferred guests. I couldn't imagine every room to be so broken and wasted because it's otherwise a very nice place in a great location. The breakfast is... nothing to write home about. Except the made to order omelettes, they don't mess that up. Otherwise you are looking at pretty cheap fare as you might expect of a place where breakfast is included as a buffet option at no extra charge. This isn't the Hilton... well I guess it kinda is. But it's not a luxury experience if anyone has those expectations. Not at all.
