“Not Impressed”

I waited at the bar for 15 min. to get some drinks. I was the only one in line. They automaatically added 18% gratuity to check. Gratuity is based on service, which I did not receive. That was the last time they got any money from me at the hotel. I went out and rented a car that day and went out to town to eat.

“Even better than last Thanksgiving”

This is about the 6th or 7th time I have been to Royal Pacific with my family in last 6 years. This vacation was even better than last one. If you are going to Universal, this is the only place you want to stay. Great location, newest of the Loews Universal Hotels, good food and service. Reasonable price. The fast pass that comes with the hotel is the best. It is included with the price of the room.

“FML”

This hotel is a great hotel if you want to travel to any of the Universal Studios parks. By staying here, you get the unlimited fast pass to all of the rides. I have stayed here once before, but my first time trip was a little better than this past trip. Although the rooms were comfortable, I really didn't like the fact that if you left the room for a bit, the AC would automatically switch back to 74-75 degrees. The point of lowering the AC and leaving was so that the room would be somewhat cool when we returned. Another thing that bothered me is the $15 self-parking fee and the internet charge. When I checked in the front desk agent seemed rude and stuck up, which was something I could overlook since I didn't plan on seeing her again. Of course I never got my complimentary newspaper I requested from her. On the plus side, the hotel is beautiful and the water taxis are so convenient, taking you to Citywalk and the parks.

“Great location.”

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Royal Pacific. We prefer this hotel over the other 2 hotels on the property. It is far enough away from Citywalk, yet it is close enough for us to choose to walk back at the end of a long day. We enjoyed all the amenities.The fountain courtyard was so serene and a wonderful place to have some drinks and relax. Overall I think this hotel offers a better value than the other two.

“it was so so, but the added expenses, this place isn't really worth it!!”

They charge you for parking in their parking lot, almost 16.00 a day,they charge for their continental breakfasts and WIFI, and even McDonalds gives your free WIFI!! Not really worth it when the expenses add up!! Even cheap hotels at 59.99 gives free WIFI and continental breakfasts!! They only bonus is getting into the parks one hr early and the express pass, if you do not care about that, look elsewhere...

“Fantastic”

Everyone was courteous and friendly. we truly hope to go back. It was like leaving all our cares behind and going to a world of how we should all treat each other. management should be proud of their staff.

ISLANDS OF THE cARRABEAN- Harry Potter-for sure/////, then Jurassic Park, and Marvel. HARRY pOTTER-#1- the castle ride. The wait is long, but you are constantly moving and being intertained. You see all of the castle. #2 is hogsmead. universal- #1 is the shrek and #2 is ET

“Lovely Place!”

Area recommendations

Universal Studios and Disney World - they are both quite close, especially Universal Studios.

Getting around

You can walk anywhere or take the shuttle or the water taxi. Everything is very convenient.
