Shula's Steakhouse - Sports memorabilia from the Miami Dolphins' 1972 season decorate the walls of this popular steakhouse. Menu favorites include Certified Angus Beef, signature 48-ounce Porterhouse, and seafood. Dinner served nightly; lounge open from late afternoon until late evening.

Todd English's bluezoo - This stylish restaurant specializes in fresh seafood such as sashimi-grade tuna steak, swordfish, and surf and turf. Dinner served nightly; lounge open from late afternoon until late night.

Fresh Mediterranean Market - Meats and poultry are cooked on a rotisserie in the open kitchen. A pastry station provides freshly baked croissants, French baguettes, Danish, and desserts. Open for breakfast and lunch.

The Fountain - Offering homemade and soft-serve ice cream, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. Open from late morning until late evening.

“Not Impressed”

I always dream to stay in this hotel. First they don't thave on demand movies :-( I was very tired and have just a few days off to rest and celebrate my 10 anniversary so we just want to rest in our room and it was sad not to have good movies to see. Also they don't have "do not disturb" tags so the room service was terrible they even open the doors without authorization. On the lobby there was like schools all over no peace. But the customer services was great and is a nice place if you like to have a good bed for you your vacation. But it was nothing special.

Area recommendations

International Drive have a lot of restaurants and fun places also good hotels all in the same place.

“Great location!”

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the Swan and Dolphin - easy walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Nice restaurants, pool and steps from the Boardwalk. We would definitely stay again.

“Loved it!”

Easy to get to. Check=In and Out was simple and fast. Valet parking was excellent. The room was lovely and very clean. Ate breakfast at the hotel each morning and it was excellent - good food and service. The Disney Transportation, both boat and shuttle were very easy - no waiting at all.

“Don't be fooled”

This is a very nice hotel located inside Disney World, but and this is important. First it is Not a Disney hotel, thus does not qualify for the Magical Express leaves you trying to find other transport to the hotel. A cab is about $50. If you get a rent a car beware where they charge $11.00 a day to the right to park in their parking lot while staying at their hotel. Then once inside you find out that beside whatever rate you were quoted there is a $12. per day charge for resort fees for things you would expect to get at a hotel of that price to begin with. They have a good canned story of what you're paying for however it's just a scam to add another $23. a day to the rate. The hotel is very nice just know up front the surprises. Remember they will tell you several times "It's Not a Disney hotel" so there are some limits to what perks you get.

“Better than expected”

I believe the location is the biggest seller for this hotel. We were so busy park hopping that we did not get to use the complete offerings of the hotel. Although, housekeeping and room service were up to par.

Area recommendations

Outside Disney Theme parks can save on daily rates. Transportation to theme parks is available and just as convenient as the Dolphin.

“Loved it!”

Very friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to Boardwalk and Epcot. Lobby is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable.

“Wonderful location, great staff”

This place is centrally located within Disneyworld, and the staff is so helpful and fantastic. Yes, there may be more 'upscale' locations to stay at, but for the price of the rooms here, the value cannot be beat. My family and I have been staying on and around Disney property for years, and always try different locations. We have never spent so little and gotten so much bang for our buck. We were walking distance to Epcot, the Disney Boardwalk, a spa, several pools, restaurants and any other amenity we'd ever dream of having while on vacation. We're definitely coming back!

Getting around

Remember, all Disney resort hotels (including the Swan and Dolphin) have free Disney transportation to and from the hotel, to all other Disney attractions (theme parks, downtown disney, etc...)

“Not Impressed”

Noisiest room I have ever stayed in and the dustiest room. Had to dust the coat hangers off before we hung our clothes. Dust on ALL the furniture in the room.

“Can't wait to go back”

We traveled with two young kids (ages 3 and 6) and we met up with seven other family members who were also staying there and we all had a great time at the Dolphin. The staffs were helpful and present, the facilities were clean, you have the usual baby sitting services and game room, but what made this hotel stand out for me was it was very accommodating. Even though we spent most of our days at the Disney Parks, we did take one day off to relax and the Dolphin was the place to be. A home away from home.
