"We visited with out 3 girls during half term. We really liked the layout of the apartment and it had everything we needed (although we forgot to take towels which weren't supplied - our bad!) The surrounding are beautiful and interesting with the old ironworks directly opposite. We found a nice pub, the Anglers Arms, just up the road with friendly staff and the food looked good. Our only very minor gripes are - we couldn't get one of the radiators to come on downstairs - not too bad when we went...

"We had a really good time at the Loft. Clear instructions, it's in great condition and plenty of space for 4 adults, 3 kids and 1 baby. Location was perfect, a 1 minute walk to the car park which was £21 for 3 days, right above a sweet shop which the kids loved, and no more than 5 minute walk from all of the pubs and restaurants in Bowness."

"Appartment was nicely equipped and cosy, pair this with regular cleaning and you get a nice experience. Only problem is beware of where you park!! There is no designated parking for guests, the only bays around are 2 hours maximim stay and traffix wardens are very active in the area."

There was plenty of room in the bedroom for the travel cot we brought with us, and they provided a high chair on arrival. "Had a very surprising experience, paid £65 for 1 single room and didn’t expect much due to the price, just something cheap and cheerful, maybe a bit dated. Room massively surpassed expectations - view of lake Windermere, minimal white/grey design, really clean, and to top it off, an amazing power shower that went ARCTIC COLD (for those who do cold showers, this one’s for you). Had the best stay! Also, it’s right next to the entrance for the walk up to Orrest head for a full panoramic view of Windermere. Perfection. "
