"Great place to stay - just as advertised. While not fancy or luxurious, it is very nice, comfortable and clean and in a spectacular location. Having morning coffee on lanai overlooking the ocean cannot be beat. Probably the best stocked kitchen in rental that we have ever had. Saul is an attentive (in a very good way) host. He provides great welcoming touches, including a bottle of wine and fresh cut flowers."

The kitchen offers up all kinds of choices for drinks and meals. Every detail was so well thought out, the host thought of everything. He even went above and beyond when we left something behind. My wife and I appreciate the care shown to us during our stay, for allowing us to check in early after a terrible experience we had in another hotel the night before. "This is the cutest little hotel! It’s like staying with friends or family. The staff is SO nice and the grounds are beautiful. Very well maintained and clean despite being retro. Loved the hot coffee and banana bread each morning and even enjoyed Obie the cat coming in to stay with us one night."

"The remodel/update of the hotel is nice. The bathroom mirror light fixture is great, your skin looks beautiful and tan. Everything worked, AC/refrigerator/fan. Easy parking, free drinking water and coffee in the lobby. It was enjoyable "

"Our stay at the grand Naniloa was ok. I would say 3 stars. Not 4 and it wouldn't allow me to unclick that 1 star. Staff was great but the only down fall I really hated about staying here is because I feel they did not accommodate the guests parking at their property. Every parking stall in the property was only valid for valet parking which was $25. Can u imagine paying that for everyday of your stay. They make you park across the street in a remote empty parking area where there is low light...

"It’s a utilitarian budget hotel without some pretty standard amenities like AC or in room WiFi, but for what it is it’s fantastic. Very close to some beautiful parks, and the bay views are great. "
