"A superb stay, very smart hotel. Incredibly convenient for me and my work. A pity about the loud guests next door (had to bang on the wall a few times to shut them up at 11pm) - not the fault of the hotel but desperately frustrating. Otherwise clean with good amenities. Housekeeping switched over the slightly smelly towels in my room (again I suspect a one-off). Would definitely stay again. Very pleased with the overall product. Superb value for prime London location. "

"The charm and character of this property, its staff and patrons should be considered a national treasure. Honestly the Ostrich was chosen for location to Heathrow and its reasonable price. The history, the pub atmosphere, the food and drink made for a wonderful experience. I would recommend anyone who wants to experience real “ London” check this place out."

"Great find at a reasonable price compared to many others in London. Great transport links as less than a 5 minute walk to the Mile End tube station. Lovely staff on arrival who gave a very warm welcome. It isn’t a fully manned 24 hour reception though so be wary if that’s what you need. Pleasantly surprised by the triple room. "Lovely old pub with character, friendly staff and locals. Stayed 1 night with my son for rugby. Twickenham 10min walk. Was given a permit to park on the road for free and found a space 50m away. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and staff very nice, especially the Ukrainian lady who served breakfast. Very polite and efficient."
