"Peaceful location with amazing views. The Apartment is located in a beautiful area but still close to the A6 for getting out & about. Lovely walks right on the doorstep too. The Apartment is a good size & well equipped. The rooms all provide great views of the area. Booked our stay here after realising we had not stayed in Derbyshire before & so pleased we did, thank you Elaine for making us feel so welcome."

"Nice place to stay when visiting nearby towns, very spacious apartment which made for a very relaxed feel. Pleasant village with pub below. Handy having a kitchen as food options are limited. Noise from the pub wasn't too bad but it was quite noisy from the kitchen below the kids room, which had music on loud! We had to put kids to bed in the other room then move them back in later in the evening. "

"We had a great mini break at "Owls Rest" recently. When we arrived the property was very clean and tidy, and there was a nice welcome pack. The location is fantastic to walk into nearby Knutsford, with a number of great activities on offer such as Tatton Park. There are a number of great pubs and restaurants nearby"

"Location was spot on, and the property was ideal for four of us. Beds were comfy and all was good bar a lack of electric from the plugs on the top two floors which ruined my plan to spend the weekend in the jacuzzi bath! We didnt contact the owners as it caused us very little bother. There are approx 20 varied pubs within half a mile, heaven."

"Spotlessly clean, close to shops and entertainment. Easy to get around by car. Best value for money we could find in the area. Check in is remote - was a little bit disjointed and there were no parking spaces left when we arrived at the check in time. The on street spaces around the accommodation are permit only. "The apartment had everything necessary, except a working elevator. As we were on an extended tour, we had three suitcases which had to be carried up many, many flights of stairs. We tried to fit a key into a lock on a door which we later learned was a "decorative", non-working knob. The decor was lovely, the location was ideal, and I am sure if we were hikers, this apartment would have been a fine fit, but not for old people or people with heavy luggage."

"Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. The only negative was the WiFi, which I found very poor, and phone signal is limited too."
