“Brilliant hotel, good location!”

We stayed at the Hilton for 4 days & had a great time there. The staff were very helpful & the food were excellent. However the wifi charge was far too expensive which was a real let down.

“Wonerful staff, bar, restaurant! Great Price!”

The staff are all very polite an extremely helpful. Each member from every department was so quick to go above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied before we ever asked them to! And the price was great too! Right next to the Rhine river and park (one small block away) and a quick walk to the historic "Old Town" area and city center. About 2 miles away, but you wont mind because the whole walk is through the park!

Area recommendations

Cologne is great and only a 20 min train ride away! Definitely worth a day trip, but take a cab to the train station (only 10 euro max) and it beats taking a chunk of your day walking the 3 miles to the train station.

“Great Stay”

We were four lads in Germany for the Klitschko fight at the Shalke Arena and had a fantasic stay at the Hilton. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Great attitudes from everyone and really helpful. This is a business hotel really and even though it's a taxi ride into the old town our stay was great. Recommended.

“Nice but far from everything”

I stayed for 3 nights at the hotel. Everything was good except for the morning before my departure I didn't have any hot water so I had to take my things down to the health club to shower there.

“5 Sterne im Angebot”

Innerhalb von Aktionstagen der Hilton Hotels hatten wir das Hilton in Düsseldorf ausgewählt. Inklusive Frühstücksbüffet bekamen wir ein sehr gutes Angebot: Das Personal war durchweg freundlich. In den Zimmern konnte man alles finden, was dieser Kategorie entspricht. An wenigen stellen wirkte das Zimmer aber etwas "verlebt". Beim Frühstück war der Andrang ungewohnter Kundschaft für ein Hotel dieser Kategier zu spüren. Nach unserer Meinung gehört auch angemessene Kleidung dazu. Einige zeigten diese nicht (erschienen z.B. in einem billigen Jogginganzug...). Der Frühstückssaal war sehr gut besucht und das Personal hatte etwas Probleme, den Andrang in den Griff zu bekommen. Zusätzlich zur Kleidung war aber auch teilweise das Verhalten fraglich. Manche hatten sich wie bei einer Pauschalreise vorgedrängelt... ...dafür kann das Hotel vor Ort aber nichts dafür, deshalb die gute Bewertung, da z.B. auch die Qualität des Frühstücks neben dem Service gut waren.

Getting around

Mit dem Nahverkehr lässt sich gut leben. Nur 5 Minuten Fussweg vom Hilton entfernt gibt es eine U-Bahnhaltestelle, zurück zum Hotel sind wir mit dem Taxi gefahren und hatten einen sehr netten Fahrer (von der Altstadt zum Hilton haben wir knapp 11 € bezahlt...)

Dining

Op de Eck: Restaurant bei der Kunsthallle mit relativ überschaubarer Karte - frische Gerichte sehr schön serviert und angenehmer Weinkarte.

“Von außen so lala innen alles wunderbar!”

Man sollte sich nicht von dem äußeren Erscheinungsbild täuschen lassen, das HIlton Düsseldorf gehört vermutlich nicht zu den schönsten Bauten die es so gibt. Der Service und das Ambiente innen jedoch sind großartig! Der Health-Club ist gut ausgestattet und absolut sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet reichhaltige Auswahl.
