The location is just for the individual who only want to be with themselves, this cannot go wrong, simply outstanding. Her home made bread deserves a 5 star, I loved it. "Douglas Cottage exceeded expectations. It was delightfully decorated in Georgian and Victorian styles but managed to perfectly combine historical charm with all the necessary mod-cons. The hosts, Barbara and Andrew, greeted us on arrival and showed us around the cottage and explained how everything worked. "Plenty of local walks requiring no vehicle once you have arrived. If you're looking for peace and tranquility, this is perfect. Open fire, cosy lounge and central heating as back up. "I like the convenience of walking to many places around. The staff was pretty good. There is a major issue with two things: Quality of the mattress Washing machines were not working. You have only two Peking machines for an entire building. Some are out of order and they are so small that you have to do two loads of laundry.
