"Our favourite place to stay on Dartmoor. The staff are fantastic. They go out of their way to accommodate every request. Rooms are always spotless and modern furnishings. Situated in the Dartmoor National Park it is the best location for exploring the outdoors. The food is delicious and homemade. Truly wonderful place to stay."

"My wife and I had an excellent and comfortable stay! We were greeted at the door and taken care of as we were shown to our room. Upon arrival they gave us an upgrade to a sea view which was very kind! Everything was brilliant, only slight issue was the lack of wifi & reception in our room (reception problem with the area, not the hotel itself). We didn’t end up trying any food though, but looked delicious. Thank you Orestone for accommodating us! "

"Myself and my partner stayed for 2 nights, on the first night with were arriving at 8.10pm just after the kitchen normally closes. We rang up and nothing was too much trouble, we preordered over the phone and they held off on preparing our meal until we arrived. Food was amazing and we had a lovely few drinks in the pub which has such a warm atmosphere. Our room was lovely, we particularly enjoyed the log burner, and was a great size. A great stay, we would definitely come again! "

"Booked The Cromwell Arms for a 3 night stay with my husband. I came down to Devon to visit my Dad who lives quite near so this place was ideal for us. On arrival this is a very quaint looking establishment and quite a few places at the rear for Free parking too. We booked in and shown to our room. We were both pleasantly surprised. "We have stopped overnight at the Tradesmans arms in Scorriton before and have not been disappointed. The location is isolated in a delightful small village with stunning views. The accommodation, food and hospitality is really good. The atmosphere created by the many local residents when the pub is open supporting the business says it all. "

"Lovely spacious lodge which is decorated and furnished to a high standard. Pleasant to sit on patio and enjoy the views. The holiday park is large and if you or any one in your group has mobility issues a car is a must - there is a steep slope/hill leading to treetops. The lodge is located in a quiet area of the park. "Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...
