Amazing character set in a beautiful village location, close to all the beaches for the children but far enough away from the crowds and traffic in August. "We had a wonderful stay on Dartmoor. It was blissfully quiet and the views and walks on your doorstep were stunning. The property was just as described and provided everything we required. We wanted to get away from the normal busy life for a week of rest along with being with nature and the outdoors. I thoroughly recommend staying here and we will definitely like to return for another holiday."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Elbury Farm. Everything was just as described and it was very clean. It has a well equipped kitchen, with everything you need. There was plenty of storage space for our family of four with a lovely garden overlooking open fields. The property is located at the end of a lane, and it feels very rural but a newly built village just a mile and a half away has a supermarket, chip shop and pharmacy etc. Kathryn, the host, couldn’t have been more helpful with a query we...

"Lovely large rambling farmhouse not far from two great Devonian towns, Dawlish and Teignmouth. Very comfortable with all necessary on site facilities except laundry (launderette in either D or T), including two playful collies and a bonus half size snooker table. A couple of issues with bathroom plumbing and lighting but nothing to detract from a warm half term staycation with the family."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...

"Lovely spacious lodge which is decorated and furnished to a high standard. Pleasant to sit on patio and enjoy the views. The holiday park is large and if you or any one in your group has mobility issues a car is a must - there is a steep slope/hill leading to treetops. The lodge is located in a quiet area of the park. Owners Adria and Steve next door and available if needed. Lovely location to explore Devon :)"
