Stay at Palacio del Inca at your own risk!!!!!!!

Posted 08-Feb-2015
Pros: The premises, the atmosphere, the staff, the service, the food, the stores in the hotel. Magical place!!!
Cons: Oxygen 24/7 in the whole building. :)
Location: A couple of blocks from the Main Square, just across the main attraction "Korikancha," stores, restaurants, pharmacies all around.
We stayed here January 26-31, 2015, and we will never be the same. The hotel and our suite transported us to a wonderful, very serene, magical world. The hotel and rooms are exquisitely decorated, and the bed and its linens and pillows -ahhhh-. The food is excellent in Peru, but at Palacio del Inca, it was perfection. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the prices, which are in Soles, which means one third of our prices in the US. ($1= S/.3) And if you eat organic, be prepared; when you eat here you think you are eating directly from the orchard. Those breakfasts!!! Fresh fruit, Peruvian bread, those whole wheat croissants, and the cheeses ahhh! Quinoa in every different version for breakfast, and the gluten free bar... The kitchen was so accommodating, they even fixed plates for me that were not in the menu. We were spoileddddd! And the Chef pays attention. Once my dessert had "aguaymanto" covered with chocolate; I removed the chocolate and ate just the "aguaymanto." Next time I ordered dessert, they added the "aguaymanto" without the chocolate. The whole hotel has a special atmosphere, very uplifting, and together with the staff... Just heaven. We will be back. Next time we will go directly to their Tambo del Inca in the Valle Sagrado and stay there for 3 days to enjoy nature, then to El Palacio en Cusco, for 4 days to complete our yearly spiritual retreat.

You will talk about this for years

Posted 07-Feb-2015
Location: This is a magical place everyone should see in their lives. There are so many things to do that I couldn't it justice with my description
This is a first class hotel. I only wish I could give every category more than 5 stars. Spectacular. The rooms are great, The staff is great. AND i got a really good deal. The bed I have is larger than king size bed I have at home. On another note - Cusco is 11,000 feet above sea level. I live near sea level - so it's no surprise that I got a little altitude sickness even though I took all the required medince before coming here. The hotel was on top of it within seconds of my disclosure of my condition. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. And by the way - skip seeing any part of Lima and go straight to here. Lima was a profound disappointment.

Really amazing hotel with lovely environment

Posted 17-Jan-2015
Pros: the building The Stuff is really lovely and it is really service-oriented
Cons: nothing, everything was more than perfect
Location: relly close to main square where you can get almost everything. Near Koricancha building (one the tourist attraction)
The hotel is really amazing located in a historical building. The service and the stuff are out of this world. I really felt we were in the best hotel ever.

Beautiful and relaxing stay!

Stunning hotel in restored palace! Loved every bit of it. Only slight complaints would be cool room temperature that was hard to adjust, not best shower pressure or hot water, and weak toilet flush (although this seemed characteristic to everywhere in Cusco).

Three Night Stay - October 2014.

Posted 20-Oct-2014
Excellent location about 2 blocks away from Plaza de Armas. The initial reception was excellent, bags were quickly taken care of and we were led to the reception area while they did the computer entries on the reservation. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, it was a good size and very clean. No problems with heat, A/C etc. The bed was fantastic, very comfortable, and the black out curtains on the drapes were the best I've ever used, great for sleeping in. We did not hear any noise from adjacent rooms or the hallway, generally speaking it is a very quiet hotel since most people are out doing tours during the day. The only cons were reception not answering one day, and a little confusion with our drycleaning - nothing major. Personally I would skip the hotel restaurant for breakfast and head to a smaller cafe such as Greens. The breakfast was typical buffet although with excellent pastries, however the price was triple what you would pay a couple blocks away, with equally excellent food. Checkout was smooth and they arranged for a nice car at a very reasonable price. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if in Cusco.

A wonderful gem!!

Posted 20-Oct-2014
Pros: Staff
Cons: Rooms are spacious (we got upgraded) and spotless but it is "old world" - if you like "contemporary" - this may not be your scene.
Location: In the heart of Cusco - minutes walk to sites and restaurants.
This is first rate - from location to property to staff. We spent 3 nights before an Inka Trail trek and then a final night before heading home. I cannot comment enough on how great the staff was. Restaurant and bar are also good but getting a bill is a bit of a wait. We would definitely staff here again.

Great hotel!

Posted 15-Oct-2014
Pros: Beautiful gardens, spacious suites, incredible concierge service.
Cons: Don't change a thing
Location: Across the street from Temple of the Sun, 15 mins walk to Plaza des Armas, 15 min drive to airport.
Hotel is located across the street from the Temple of the Sun and 15 min walk to Plaza des Armas and city center. The hotel staff is exception as are the rooms and facilities. This hotel is a luxury property from SPG and no luxury is spared during your stay. The hotel bar and restaurant have great menus, food and drink options.

清潔でラグジュアリーなホテル

Posted 20-Sep-2014 on Hotels.com
