Three Night Stay - October 2014.

Posted 20-Oct-2014
Excellent location about 2 blocks away from Plaza de Armas. The initial reception was excellent, bags were quickly taken care of and we were led to the reception area while they did the computer entries on the reservation. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, it was a good size and very clean. No problems with heat, A/C etc. The bed was fantastic, very comfortable, and the black out curtains on the drapes were the best I've ever used, great for sleeping in. We did not hear any noise from adjacent rooms or the hallway, generally speaking it is a very quiet hotel since most people are out doing tours during the day. The only cons were reception not answering one day, and a little confusion with our drycleaning - nothing major. Personally I would skip the hotel restaurant for breakfast and head to a smaller cafe such as Greens. The breakfast was typical buffet although with excellent pastries, however the price was triple what you would pay a couple blocks away, with equally excellent food. Checkout was smooth and they arranged for a nice car at a very reasonable price. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if in Cusco.

A wonderful gem!!

Posted 20-Oct-2014
Pros: Staff
Cons: Rooms are spacious (we got upgraded) and spotless but it is "old world" - if you like "contemporary" - this may not be your scene.
Location: In the heart of Cusco - minutes walk to sites and restaurants.
This is first rate - from location to property to staff. We spent 3 nights before an Inka Trail trek and then a final night before heading home. I cannot comment enough on how great the staff was. Restaurant and bar are also good but getting a bill is a bit of a wait. We would definitely staff here again.

Great hotel!

Posted 15-Oct-2014
Pros: Beautiful gardens, spacious suites, incredible concierge service.
Cons: Don't change a thing
Location: Across the street from Temple of the Sun, 15 mins walk to Plaza des Armas, 15 min drive to airport.
Hotel is located across the street from the Temple of the Sun and 15 min walk to Plaza des Armas and city center. The hotel staff is exception as are the rooms and facilities. This hotel is a luxury property from SPG and no luxury is spared during your stay. The hotel bar and restaurant have great menus, food and drink options.

Perfect start and end to Inca Trail

Posted 14-Sep-2014 on Hotels.com
We booked this hotel for the beginning and end of our Inca Trail trek, and it was perfect for that. The staff was friendly, rooms large and comfortable, and the luxury was exactly what we needed at the end of the long trip.

Estadia maravilhosa em todos os sentidos... Mas qdo chegamos no hotel, não estava incluso o café da manhã, e no site não estava descrito. Mas valeu mesmo assim, pois foi um dos hotéis mais espetaculares que já ficamos

Stay here! You will be more than happy!

My friend and I travel internationally often, but this stay was by far the best one. The hotel had everything you would expect from a luxury hotel: currency exchange, great staff, beautiful rooms, etc. When we arrived, the attendant, upgraded our room to a suite and it was absolutely beautiful. Victor was exceptional, he assisted us with an almost impossible request. Unbeknownst to my friend and I, we needed to buy a ticket to actually travel on Machu Picchu. We didn't find out until the day before our train ride, Victor was able to get us tickets through making phone calls to friends and everything worked out. Stay here, you will love it!

Amazing 5 Star Hotel & Staff

Posted 25-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
It was quite an experience here,it was a palace of an Inka king and the architecture is great. The staff is great and they make you feel important and are at your beck and call at all times.I'd like to thank "Roger" at the concierge desk who really practices hospitality.
