"We had a magnificent time in these lovely guest quarters: spacious, comfortable, immaculate, fully equipped – and with stunning views across the countryside. Our delightful hosts, Wendy and Ian, were always available to answer questions or provide information. The property is close to Cardiff and other areas of interest such as St. Fagan's National Museum of History. We have stayed in many VRBO rentals, but this one was among the very best!"

"We had a fantastic family holiday here. The house was very comfortable and clean and well appointed. Our grandson particularly appreciated the Brio Train Set and all the Lego....not to mention the Tarzan Swing along the lane. Our welcome pack was the best I have ever had. The situation is just beautiful and for us, just perfect for visiting our family in Barry. Only thing to flag up, as we arrived in the dark, we were looking for the Yellow Grit Bin, which isn't there now!!!! It didn't matter...

"The property (inside and out) was spotlessly clean and very well presented with very tasteful decor. Fixtures and fittings were of good quality and the kitchen, bed and particularly the shower were excellent. A nice touch was the fire which was 'ready to light' with extra wood supplied too. Road parking was adjacent to the house. A local shop and Chinese takeaway were 2 minutes walk away. The stairs are very steep if you struggle with mobility, but a beautiful feature of the house. "We had a great time at Riverside Cottage. It was clean, tidy and spacious, we enjoyed the views on the balcony overlooking the mountains. It had everything needed for a 4 day stay, but I would have stayed longer if possible next time. Recommend the local Pen Pych Mountain and 4 waterfalls walk. There is quite a lot within a 20-30 minute drive. Would recommend and hopefully be back soon, thank you"

"It was difficult to get the exact address from the host, even when we were parked on the same street and looking for it. The area was nice and the property was nice overall, and the hamper was very nice and welcome. However, some surfaces were very dusty and under the bed and sofa were absolute filthy, which I found out when I dropped something and had to retrieve it and my arm emerged absolutely covered in dust and hair and general dirt."
