“very nice hotel”

very nice hotel. Rooms were nice and clean. Not very big though. Bed was really comfy. I liked the pool with sauna and steam room. For a 5 star hotel not expensive. Opposite from the hotel is a parking garage (about 14 euro a day). Street side may be a bit noisy, but did not bother me. No air conditioning (or it did not work), but we didn't need it anyway. Shops are within walking distance.

“Extremely Friendly Upgrade Package Brilliant”

Deluxe room not large but very comfy with mini bar, coffee & tea, luxury toiletries, large TV and air con. Upgrade to Club status for 49 euros a day and includes full breakfast, free drinks, free film, bathrobes, snacks and more. Really good value. Great location as everything is on your doorstep. Christmas markets are linked by the little train at 3 euros a trip a bargain saves your legs.

“A brilliant hotel to tour Cologne”

This hotel is great. About 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral (and train station). On check-in our bags were inspected as we were leaving them with the hotel before we could get into our room. This was a bit strange but we were informed that it is hotel policy. They were also checked again when we left the hotel as again we were leaving our bags with the hotel for an hour or so. The room was spacious, clean and warm. There were plenty of towels and toiletries.

“Will definitely use the hotel next time”

We went to Cologne for a weekend visiting the Christmas markets, which were excellent. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the centre of town, but there is an underground station a couple of hundred yards from the hotel, which takes you straight to the Cathedral. The only slight issue with the hotel is that there are a few night clubs nearby which can be loud on Friday/Saturday nights. These are in a road at the rear of the hotel, and a few people were complaining that it kept them awake.

the hotel was very clean, modern and the rooms comfortable the staff were very polite, friendly and went out of their way to be helpfull .The head cheif and kitchen staff went out of their way to cater for my partners dietary needs. we would recomend this hotel

“Perfection!”

The hotel was perfect, staff were friendly and very efficient, rooms were to a high standard and the beds were heavenly! It's in a perfect location for getting to all of the main attractions, either on foot or the U. Book it!!!

“Good but the restaurant needs a little attention”

The staff were fantastic apart from the restaurant staff. I ordered soup which was delivered with no spoon, and the waiter forgot the bread for the table as well. When the waiter cleared our starter plates he asked if we wanted dessert, and we explained that we had main courses coming as well. We then waited nearly an hour for the main course and when we asked where it was we were told that the kitchen was just making it. Saying this, the food was very good and excellently presented, it was just a shame the service let it down.

A lovely hotel,staff very friendly all spoke excellent english,amazing breakfast.very clean. Watch your bar bill though.called us a taxi on departure. Have a safe room to leave your bags if you arrive before check in. Town centre only a few minutes walk away, central for Christmas markets.

“great hotel, would definitely recommend”

we used this hotel as a base to visit the Xmas markets around Koln. it was very comfortable and in a good location for bars and places to eat. breakfast was included for us with the club room package and was very good in the restaurant. unfortunately the club room was a bit hit or miss - there were no times telling you what time food was available from and too and sometimes there were many drinks available either. Also alcoholic drinks were only available in the evening and was only beer and wine. i would stay again but wouldnt bother with the club room.
