“Great Stay”

We booked the room last minute so we had to pay the inflated rates of a Gameday weekend. However, the room was very clean, the beds and pillows were very comformtable, the staff was friendlyand even let us check in early. The A/C window unit was just a little bit on the loud side but it worked nonetheless. We would definitely stay there again. Plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area.

I care not to stay at that hotel again and maybe not any of the Holiday Inn Express

“Cowboy Don”

Nice hotel with good location - easy for westbound but you have to look through the next door bank to get into the hotel from Campus. Room was a mini-suite which was ample room for one or two people. Cheaper rate than a lot of the competition.

Area recommendations
Good area with lots of similar hotels nearby - easy commute to Texas A&M
Dining
For a nice dining experience, try the Republic Steakhouse - very good and not too pricey for a good dinner.

“Clean, comfortable, and relaxing”

This was a big step up from where we have been staying in College Station and worth the extra money, which wasn't too much. Very clean, quality flat screen tv, two types of pillows (firm and soft) were great. We have a daughter at A&M and this will be our new home when we visit now. Even has a fridge and microwave in the room, decent desk and chair too. Plenty of places to eat nearby.
