“New Year's in Chicago”

This hotel was great and was close to everything you need to enjoy a night or few in Chicago. When checking in, they weren't able to fulfill out request for 2 double beds so they upgraded us to a suite for no charge. The Suite was more spacious and included one bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom was much bigger than I expected. The bar downstairs could use some work and make it more spacious, but I am not sure they get very many guests down at the bar.

“Great Little Hotel”

The Inn of Chicago is right on the Mag. Mile, close to good shopping and restaurants, museums, etc. Room was cozy, bed was terrific. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable - the concierge has drag with some local eateries, so see her if you are concerned about getting into a place. The cafe adjacent to, and apparently part of, the hotel, Lavazza, serves great Italian coffee and Continental style breakfasts and pastries. Rates were reasonable, even with a major convention in town. Will stay here again.

“Great location, close to the Mile.”

This hotel was a great location just off the Mile. The room was a little small compared to others I've stayed in, but it was clean and the beds were among the most comfortable I've ever slept on. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay close to the Mile and shops.

“excellent!”

What a cute, cozy, quaint hotel in a good location! we just loved it. beds are comfy, no noise even being across the elevator. Bathroom a bit tight but it works. the lounge is darling and has a nice look. If you want a martini in their lounge though they are spendy at $12. close to michigan ave for shopping! Had dinner a block away at Valero italian restaurant which was very busy, noisy and loud. It was hard to talk. Meal was good though. Flowers blooming and just beautiful. chicago has an attractive downtown.

“Amazing Location for the price”

This hotel has the best location for our shopping and sightseeing trip to chicago. The shops at the Magnificent Mile area was just around the corner. There were lots of good restaurants also near the hotel. The hotel staff were all nice. Our room was always clean. Although, the bathroom was really small. the sink was too small and too low, and to think, that I am only 5"2 in height, it was still a little bit uncomfy for me to use. But the cleanliness of the hotel, friendliness of the staff and good location of this hotel makes up for that little discomfort. And for the price of our stay, this is a bargain. I will definitely go back and recommend this hotel to anybody and everybody.

“A very good hotel close to Michigan Ave”

Location of the hotel was important to us. Hotel has under gone renovation and they have done a very good job with it. Rooms are a little small, but that is because of the age of the hotel.

“Wonderful location but rooms are small”

This is a great hotel to stay in if you're visiting Chicago to explore the city -- since it's an older building, the rooms are on the small side, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're planning on spending a lot of time in the room other than sleeping.

“We'll stay there again!”

We loved the intimacy, friendly and helpful staff, and location! Our only discomfort was the lack of air conditioning regulation . . a little warm at times, but were told that was resolving. We'll stay there every trip to Chicago!

“Ready to go Back and have fun in spring of 2010”

When we checked in our room was clean. The restroom is pretty tight as you have a small sink and bath tub. When sitting down your knees could almost touch the table that the sink sits on. Overall that was probably the ony thing. Beds were comfortable and pillows great.
