There was everything we needed in terms of kitchenware, bedding and towels etc but it definitely could have been cleaner. There are patches of damp particularly in the bathrooms and the en-suite shower was boiling hot. The upstairs room, where there are 2 sofa beds, was damp smelling and sparse. The location is perfect, not picturesque but right off the Main Street, 5 minutes walk from the castle and river."

Nice sitting area with TV, comfortable bed and plenty of closet and storage space in the bedroom, and the kitchen was updated if you want to cook. Hampstead area is terrific. Underground literally outside your door, plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance, and a huge park nearby. "We enjoyed our stay but had one issue with this property... there was no mention in the listing of the 37 very steep stairs you have to climb with your suitcases which could be very difficult for older guests. We are 71 and 73 but very fit and active so this was not too much of an issue for us. Otherwise our stay was enjoyable."
