“Worked for us...”

Very comfortable room & bed. The only noticeable item that distracted me was the AC unit - a little on the noisy side. Hot breakfast made for an easy to get started morning.

“Definitely stay here”

Hotel was very clean. Staff was helpful. Located within easy driving distance of Charleston historic district and museum mile. Beds were very comfortable. Includes breakfast service. Hotel is located next door to a Ruby Tuesday restaurant -- easy walk after a full day of sightseeing.

Area recommendations

We did the historic district, specifically Museum Mile. Plenty of parking available in the garage attached to the visitors center. Definitely take the sightseeing bus tour to get a good overview of the city. If doing the museum, plan for 2 to 3 hours just for that. Lots of neat places to eat in the area.

“Good Alternative”

Have been traveling and exploring Charleston for 12 years and have stayed at many different hotels. Found the price and room well worth the extra drive, and parking free. Good option to consider.

“After cruise hotel!!!”

Perfect for what we needed. We wanted to stay and see Charleston after our cruise. It was ready when we got there. Very friendly staff!! Very clean and comfortable. Expedia offered free carriage ride....they did not honor that.

“Loved the choice of pillows”

Our room was very nice and the bed (and choice of pillows) more comfortable than most hotels. My only negative would be that I prefer the vanity area to be separate from the shower and toilet; that way, one person can be showering while the other is getting ready - when it's all in the same room the mirror stays fogged up. That's only a problem with more than one guest I suppose. Otherwise, it was nice, clean and comfortable and decent price.

“Good alternative to Downtown Charleston Hotel Prices”

Everything at this hotel was fine we were on our way to Florida so it was a good exit route for going south. Ruby Tuesday next door and shopping not too far away. Front Desk Staff and Breakfast lady were very nice and helpful.
