Enjoy beautifully restored properties in the heart of historic downtown Charleston, one short block to King Street. DETAILS OF THIS PROPERTY: •3 bedrooms •2 queen beds, 4 single beds, 1 queen Murphy Bed ( in living room can be closed off for optional 4th bedroom) •4 bathrooms •Fully stocked kitchen Piazza with glass table for 8 This apartment is located on the second floor. Enter the apartment from the second floor piazza to find a spacious great room to your left with historic features and hardwood floors. LIVING ROOM/4TH BEDROOM To the left are double folding doors leading to the grand living room with a classic fireplace. The room is furnished with 4 velvet swivel chairs, beautiful sofa sleeper with gel queen mattress. In one corner, is a very clever and full bath with a marble shower. Guests can use this room as a 4th bedroom with a very secure door. MASTER BEDROOM Off of the dining room is cozy bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom. DORMER ROOMS Between the kitchen and the living room is a spiral staircase leading to two charming dormer rooms - each with two single beds their own bathroom. These rooms have the oldest and prettiest floors of any of our properties. The space is under the dormers so a tall person will duck if getting in and out from the sides. The middle space in front of the window is full height. Adult Offsite Pool & Gym Access We partner with an offsite resort called the Wonderer which is located in downtown Charleston, a short drive away. Our guests 25+ are able to visit the wonderer. There is a strict age policy, no one under 21 will be permitted (including the pool). Resort features : Olympic size pool (heated in winter) , Poolside Cabana (additional charge), Gym (classes at additional charge) , 2 bars , Restaurant , Private & Shared work space \*Disclaimer\* The Wonderer is a separate company. They reserve the right to alter availability due to events and no inconvenience credits with be given due to issues with the Wonderer. Availability is not guaranteed. We suggest booking in advance. What looks like a fun rooftop is off limits. The black tar will ruin your clothes and our blankets and is not safe. Our property manager’s office is onsite and she can help with any issues during the day. She is also available by phone and text. We are frequently onsite. However, we like to give our guests as much privacy as they want. Located just one block from King Street, St. Philip Square is a collection of 6 restored historic homes with a spacious shared courtyard and outdoor garden areas that span an entire city square block of downtown Charleston.    The Charleston shuttle bus stop is one block away. Walking is a great way to get to all the nearby restaurants, bars and shops. The unit appeared to be very well cleaned and maintained. We loved the highly walkable area and found some great restaurants and coffee shops within a few blocks. One thing to note is that two of the bedrooms are upstairs in the former attic level, so the beds have low head clearance and the bathrooms are small. We did have two adults successfully sleep up there, but felt those bedrooms would be best suited for children. One note for the host is that we would have appreciated optional plug-in air fresheners since (like all historic southern homes) it can smell a bit musty in the summer. The home was beautiful, very clean, with comfortable beds, and convenient to everything. Just one block off King Street, there are many restaurants and bars within a couple blocks. The historic area is only about 1 mile away-an easy walk or Lyft trip. There was some street noise, so bring ear plugs and/or make use of the 2 white noise machines. Lots of space and modern bathrooms. Loved the outdoor balcony. Great location one block off King street and plenty of restaurants , local cafes and shopping. A little noisy but it’s city life. The unit was nicely decorated and very clean. The pictures do it justice. Just be aware that there is one bedroom on the first floor and a Murphy bed in the living room. Two other bedrooms are up a spiral stair case. The two upstairs rooms have twin beds. And the bathrooms are tight. Amenities were perfect too. Oh and the outdoor space or piazza was great as well. A group of 5 of us were in town to celebrate a 50th birthday. We loved the house and Jaime went above and beyond to accommodate us. The beds were so comfortable! We loved that they had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this property. My only hesitation would be for anyone 'of size' or with limited mobility staying upstairs. The spiral stairs were a bit of a challenge for a couple people in our group with ankle/knee issues. But there are plenty of beds and two full baths on the main floor which gives you lots of choices! We loved this spot and highly recommend staying here - it's clean, quiet, comfortable & close to everything! ##### Colleen L. This place is spotless with upscale and seeming new fixtures and furniture. It is beautifully decorated. The neighborhood is nice with King Street only a block away and the beautiful College of Charleston campus nearby. It’s a perfect location for walking. There’s a great little bakery less than a block away. One thing I loved about this rental was the abundance of towels and washcloths and the full size bath products in the showers. SO convenient! I would put children or shorter people upstairs. You WILL be under the eaves, but it is all beautifully designed. ##### freeland b.
