"Lovely pub , rooms very clean ,great staff, the only problem was when we booked this stay it said they served food , when we arrived & asked about this we was told they’d stop serving food a few months ago ,if I’d known this I would have booked somewhere that did this service, also it would have been nice for them to let us no about this change so I could have found somewhere else I think they need to update there site !!!! "The room was clean and comfortable but the building is very old and the toilet/plumbing makes a noise every 30 minutes or so, all through the night, even if you don't flush it. We also had noisy neighbours, the walls are very thin! I didn't get much sleep the first night and we had a wedding to go to the next day so it wasn't ideal. Bring earplugs. No WiFi. More positively, staff were lovely, friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great, you get a lot included in the room rate - tea, coffee,...

"The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was made with fresh produce,the portions were of an adequate size and it was very tasty. The room was well equipped, the only criticism would be a full length mirror in the room would be benificial and you could not fit your legs beneath the dressing table as the chair was too high. We could have done with some towel hooks or a rail and a few instructions like how to turn on the radiator and what to do with the key when we left ( we worked those things out in the end !)"

"Arrived a few hours early, and the lady on the front desk was really friendly and got us checked into our room. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff at breakfast were very nice and the food was very nice also very fresh. She even made my son a bacon sandwich because he couldn’t be bothered to get out of bed 😂. I would definitely recommend this place. "

"Nice hotel but the room, and particularly the bathroom, are clynical and sparcely decorated. The room was spacious and comfortable but didn't feel warm and homely like a hotel room should. Staff were pleasant and food in restraunt was good though."
