“Second stay, would return again”
We're veterans to Cancun, but took family for their first experience. We all had a great time. The food/drinks/service was excellent. It was our first All-Inclusive stay in all our trips to Cancun, and the value was outstanding. We have just a few minor (very minor) complaints: 1. The water temp would sometimes fluctuate when taking a shower. It would get hotter then colder then go back to the temp you had it set at. 2. The phone worked intermittently. 3. AC sounded like a freight train but did it's job. The temps in mid-December were 80 during the day, and mid 60's in the evenings, so the girls did need a sweater, but not a coat. All in all, a wonderful trip, and would return to this hotel.
“Extatic Couple”
This was the first time my boyfriend had been to Cancun and his first time to an all inclusive resort though it was my third time to Cancun. He can't stop raving about his time. Calls it the best week of his life. I have to say that the quality of food was excellent. The friendliness of the staff was also excellent. We would go back to that location in a heartbeat! We paid for hotel transfers and airport parking in the package. I highly recommend doing so. Everyone speaks english very well when you get into Mexico...but it is nice not to have the hassle of worry when you get there.
“Excellent All Inclusive Resort. Will Recommend to Families and Couples.”
It was our first trip to Mexico and with a 2.5 yr old in tow, we were really unsure how things would turn out. But thanks to Expedia and other positive reviews, our stay at the Condesa was nothing short of a dream vaca....Totally recommend the Best Day travel service that Expedia partners with for local transportation to/from the airport. In addition they arrange excursions from the hotel and we did the one to Isla Mujeres - no hassles, excellent service, got what was promised and felt safe and secure all along. Even though booking an excursion with the Best Day's desk at the hotel can be a bit expensive - its well worth it! The Condesa was like any other great resort. We had an Ocean Front room that was ready and clean on arrival. They really make the "All Inclusive" experience live up to the name! Everything from the bottled water in the room, to the cerveza in the mini bar and drinks by the pool were at no additional cost. That was sweet...Our 2.5 yr old enjoyed the resort pool and all amenities. The restaurants were great as well although vegetarians have limited options. Overall just a very very solid hotel that I feel safe recommeding to anyone. My only regret was that we didnt extend our stay!!
“Would definitely go back.”
It was a very clean hotel, lots of workers, food was awesome with many choices, Drinks everywhere you went. My only complaint would be the unheated pool. I never swam in there because it was so cold. It was a beautiful hotel and very clean rooms for sleeping with lots of pillows for comfort. Workers very helpful and nice. The waiters and waitresses were very nice and went the extra mile to please you. Would definitely go back.
“All around good experience”
We liked everything about the hotel except that our room left a lot to be desired. The staff was great the food options were plentiful and of good quality. It was the room we didnt like so much.
“An outstanding all-inclusive resort for a Cancun first-timer...definitely would recommend”
Fiesta Americana Condesa was amazing and will always have a special place in my memory. We felt so pampered throughout. The swim-up bar are a great plus and the bartenders all knew a huge list of mixed drinks and cocktails. The location is superb, literally 2 minute walk out to the oceanfront. The pools were spacious, clean, and beautiful. The food from 24-hr room service and breakfast was okay, but the Asian place (Kambu) for dinner was fantastic! Best Pad Thai ever, and I've lived in Thai town in Los Angeles and visited Bangkok, Thailand. Hands down, best Pad Thai. Also, the cevicheria makes excellent fish tacos and the poolside snack bar owns! Tipping goes a long way, so please tip the workers here. They make very very little and the tip you give them could totally make their day. Plus, it benefits you too: VIP treatment! For example, we tipped our bartender in the main lobby bar generously and he always had our favorite drinks served cold after just seeing us walking down the stairs! Even with a big crowd in front of him, he'd yell over them and call us over for drinks! Bus stop is right in front of the resort, 24-hours, takes you to the nightlife clubs about 20 minutes away and downtown Cancun about 40 minutes away. Concierge was very helpful, provided maps and directions and even a 700-peso shuttle ride back to the airport (for 6 people + luggage). Reception provides currency exchange from USD to MXN, but not vice versa. Loved it here =)
“Great hotel if not interested in swimming in Carribean Sea”
Fiesta Americana Condesa is a comfortable all inclusive hotel with beautiful grounds. The hotel lacked in the entertainment department tremendously. The stage for the night shows is low so if you don't have front seating you cannot see. Sadly the shows were very disappointing, the acts were not good and the dancing was nothing worth staying awake for compared to RIU Palace hotels. The only complaint about the room would be the small bathrooms, the cleaning staff very nice and hardworking, the front desk not very attentive or friendly, and the food and drinks were good. The most disappointing part of this hotel was the beach, due to the location of this hotel it is practically unswimmable, since it is exposed to the open Carribean Sea the waves are very strong and dangerous. We witnessed a lifeguard take a person out of the water, thankfully he was ok. The waves were strong enough to knock you over just standing at the shore. We took our parents and siblings just to experience swimming in the Carribean Sea so I was very disillusioned when they were not able to safely go in. I would not stay again or recommend Fiesta Americana Condesa for this reason alone.
“Awesome hotel, service and people”
Extremely pleased with the quality of the hotel and what's offered by it: room, food (authentic Mexican flavor, variety, quantity, etc), recreational activities, outstanding service-oriented people, feeling of being in a secure place, etc. It's all inclusive but it didn't mean they were taking us for granted (quite contrary, always doing their best to service our leisure needs) The only item I didn't like was a bad smell coming from the drain in the bathroom I'll definitely highly recommend this hotel to others
“FIESTA is the best!!!”
thank you so much. i bought this for my parent as a gift.. they really loved that hotel and employees.
“Highly recommended”
This resort has exceeded our expectations. Staff was extremely welcoming and always eager to help. We have not had a single moment of bad taste in our mouths.
