"We stayed as a couple and we had been out for dinner but on our return my wife just wanted something sweet so asked for the dessert menu. The manager said that although kitchen finished he could make one. My wife declined saying that she just wanted something small and sweet but that it was ok. After this, the barmaid (did not get name) said she had some chocolate in her locker which she would share! Absolutely amazing!! My wife said it was ok but thank you and then five minutes later the manager then brought over a bar of chocolate which she could have. Quite small things in isolation but you could tell that we were engaging with very nice people that just wanted to help and deliver great service. Thank you."

"Wonderful hotel in the heart of historic Cambridge. Walking distance to the old Colleges and the city centre, but also in an area that is quiet. It feels like you have got away from it all. Amazing room with a fabulous bathroom. Nice and spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast and dinner options were very good and the food was lovely. A smashing place."

"Christ's College is an old institution with lovely grounds in the centre of Cambridge and it is easy to walk to attractions.The accommodation is in a modern block at the back of the grounds and was built by the architect for the National Theatre .So I was faced with a huge flight of concrete steps and no lift!Luckily I had help with my case from a gardener on my arrival and a cleaner as I left and in between I got quite fit! But I think you should warn prospective guests with limited mobility as there are rooms at the ground floor of the block for which you do not need to use the steps. Breakfast was included and was very good with options of cold meats, juice,fruit,cereal,cooked breakfast, toast, bread and jam as well as tea or coffee.The room was modern with ensuite facilities ( mini wetroom). NO TV but once I managed the complicated instructions I could use my tablet on college wifi.Excellent value for money!"
