"It was a lovely stay. The kids enjoyed the stay. The room was spacious and clean. It was a nice break and change of scenery travelling from Birmingham. The owner Paul was very attentive and checked in with us and was on hand for any queries. This hotel is in a great spot to many shops for breakfast, lunch and dinner and shopping. A hidden gem! "Me and my girlfriend wanted a weekend away close by and chose Ruthin. We saw the Feathers which was very close to the centre. We booked two nights. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown our room and the amenities. It was only then I realized I'd booked a room with a shared bathroom. "Our stay was to split a long journey south so it was only for one night. Self-entry was straightforward, room more than sufficient for our needs bed very comfortable and room temperature perfect, unlike a lot of places! We were a minutes walk to main street & all amenities and although breakfast was not provided we had ample choice nearby when we left. Host very friendly - all in all, we will definitely be returning!"
