"Wonderful stay - excellent service from very friendly staff, really lovely room at the front of the hotel - nice and large, spotlessly clean with bathroom that was great as it had a bath. Dinner and breakfast were excellent - such good quality tasty food and reasonably priced - lovely atmosphere in the bar. Great beer garden at the rear which we didn't get a chance to use as the weather was not kind. Sorry to leave this place - will be back"

"Clean, very nice room. On a busy roundabout so can be noisy with traffic. Bar menu not up to date - 2 drinks they didn’t have on offer. Very good breakfast "

"Definitely a place to experience what it’s like to stay in the Cotswolds. Very quaint inn with its rustic look and feel. Staff was very nice and the ability to dine at their sister property across the street (the Mermaid) was a plus. "
