Spent a couple of nights at the Fox. Breakfasts were tasty and very nicely presented. Enjoyed our dinner there too. Staff are all very friendly and attentive. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

A lovely Inn on the river. Modern, clean and comfortable room. Nice food in the bar and a good full English served in the morning with fresh juice and coffee. Very friendly staff who made us feel welcome. A shame we were only passing through for the night. We would highly recommend for an extended break.

Don’t bother on a Sunday evening!
We arrived at 8.45pm on Sunday due to birthday arrangements at Bleinham Palace. The pub called to confirm we were still attending for the night which was nice.
On check-in we were informed the bar was closed, it wasn’t even 9pm?? Website states open till 11pm.
This resulted in us staying in the room with a pint and a bottle, not exactly the chilled evening drinks we were hoping!
The room albeit small was ok, bathroom was modern but there was a smell of musty drains which was carrying into the room so that was nice for the night! Plus the loo only just flushed, it was like the chain/handle wasn’t connected properly.
Also the EXIT sign above the door lights up the room like Blackpool Xmas lights so sleep for my partner was on and off for the duration.
Breakfast in the morning was good, hot food available. Only suggestion would be more hot options available for a veggie as the misses had to settle with toast as she does not eat eggs.
